I'm not a huge fan of Fairley, but if the Lions lose both tackles there defense will go from first to bottom feeders in a hurry.

Hardy is obviously the most productive on the field, and if it weren't for the off the field issue, he likely wouldn't even be available. There's him, and then everyone else.

The consolation prize for me is Sheard, with Morgan or Clayborn a distant third choice..

The rest? Meh...

What's it going to be then, eh?

Most are not worth talking about. Fairley is negotiating with the Lions and others. Knighton will be off the market soon, so will Dan Williams and Morgan.

The simple reality is that in all likelihood, Dallas is not going to be a major player in free agency. We may dumpster dive late, but that is all I see happening.

Its becoming quickly apparent any progress made with our DL this year will come via the draft and the maturation of Crawford and Lawrence.

A lot of those guys don't fit Rod's system so we wouldn't even be looking at them. I think they add one cheap DE like Clayborn or Wooten and add other pieces in the draft

Who doesn't fit besides maybe Knighton or Dan Williams?

Please don't crush my hopes of Hardy and Gurley.

1 more key addition to the D line would make me feel 1000000000x better coming into this season.

Those are two that stick out. Woodley spent most of his career as 3-4 OLB, maybe if he has any tread left he could switch to a 4-3 end.

You and me both! People can kid themselves, but no rookie is going to walk into Dallas and suddenly correct this team's pass rush, by far its' biggest weakness. It simply doesn't happen, even for the very best of them.

Tell em Stash, :hammer:Hardy would be like Charles Haley in the 90's, and put the Cowboys over the top

Hardy would be the only impact player. Maybe Orakpo on a 1 year incentive laden deal. Cole is just too old, but maybe on a cheap deal.

We'll sign a guy of the Brodney Pool/Will Allen ilk who we will cut no more than 3 weeks into the season, forcing us to start an unproven and underwhelming player while managing to create a bigger hole then the one we had when we signed them

On the bright side, if we don't sign anyone we'll probably get a 3rd rounder for Murray as a compensatory in 2016.

Maybe sign guys who were cut by their teams. I don't see anyone other than Hardy who would be a transformative addition, though I like Morgan.
