The Commanders were missing their best player, Santana Moss.

We didn't get enough of a pass rush.

We played undisciplined football...and made stupid play after stupid penalty after stupid play.

We came out flat, again.

Had a safety on a running play (how embarrassing is THAT?)

The call for a two point play, THAT early in the game, was the stuff of Barry Switzer.

I don't think it was a bad performance, we ran the ball, we were able to drive down the field, etc.

IMO it was a great rivalry game, and with the exception of the final score, wouldn't have had it any other way.

Yeah, I don't usually pay much attention to the talking heads but I have to agree with Jimmy Johnson in that this team lacks focus. Must be why BP called off the Friday practice.

I agree Juke, we are an average team, and I don't know what Parcells does during the week to prepare this team but it sucks. No emotion, no heart. Parcells has some more stupid calls. Though it is not the end of the world and the whole doens't suck but, I don't think we make the playoffs again with Parcells as the head coach. JMO

BUT when ya lose to a lousy team, who happens to be missing their best player, it's kinda LAME to blame the refs.

Especially when we played as poorly as we did.

No, I will complain about the refs cause their call DIRECTLY affected the outcome of the game...

Even if we do go up by one instead of going for two, there's still 3 quarters of football left in which ANYTHING can happen.

The refs made such an important (and wrong) call so as to essentially preclude any chance at negating it.

The team had every opportunity to win this game, extra point or not. They didn't get it done on the field. It wasn't coaching period.

Wrong.

This game was ridiculous on so many levels we'll be talking about it for YEARS. There were called AND uncalled penalties both ways that had huge impacts on the game. Both teams played great at times, and awful at others. Both teams deserved to win, and both teams deserved to lose.

The notion that either team "handed" the other anything is preposterous. You sure you're a Commanders fan?
