My 2 cents. The Commanders should have lost today, but didn't. They have lost games in the past they should have won.

Aside from all that, the Cowboys shot themselves in the foot with those penalties, and have no one to blame but themselves. There were half a dozen blatant jersey tugging holding calls that weren't called, so it could have been worse.

BTW, you guys want Adam Archuleta? We'll pay you to take him off of our hands.

Great point. Witten looked like a kid caught with his hand in the candy jar on the Glenn TD. He got away with a flagrant hold.

But of course, the Oliver Stone, cloak and dagger conspiracy crowd doesn't mention that.

great teams can't win when the calls that 'don't go their way' happen with literally no time left on the clock.

doesn't matter how good you're team is--when the call happens at such a critical point in the game, you're gonna lose.

if this call took place at 30 or 40 seconds left, then fine! the whole 'great teams can win regardless' mentality would be appropriate. But this call took place with no seconds left! it doesn't matter how ****ing good you are--there's no time left to make up for the bad call!

Blame the refs?

The Commanders were missing their best player, Santana Moss.

We didn't get enough of a pass rush.

We played undisciplined football...and made stupid play after stupid penalty after stupid play.

We came out flat, again.

Had a safety on a running play (how embarrassing is THAT?)

The call for a two point play, THAT early in the game, was the stuff of Barry Switzer.

We beat ourselves.

Plain and simple.

Had we taken care of business and not made the stupid mistakes on defense it would have -never- came down to a poor call by the refs at the end of the game that ultimately cost us the win.

Good game by the Skins. They showed up and we didn't.

Don't rule out Anthony Henry either.

He flat out didn't show up and he dropped two passes that should have been int's.

They had a ton of penalties because THEY COMMITTED THEM. Just because you're on their board doesn't mean you have suck up to them. Get off your knees, man.

If the game was called correctly, as if any game ever is, they would've had more penalties and so would we. It's not the refs fault Roy made contact with Lloyd on a deep pass, it's not the refs fault Henry kept interfering with the reciever. It IS the refs fault for calling a 5 year facemask a 15 yarder, yet it's also their fault for not calling the obvious holding a half dozen times by the Cowboys OL.

You can't expect the refs to be perfect, they never are. Neither team played dominate enough to say,"we should've won", so why bother?

We got very lucky to get you guys durring one of your worst performances all year.

Thank you for your graciousness in victory skinsngibbs4life, but you guys capitalized when you had to. Brunnel had a pretty decent passing day. Your line protected him more often than not. Your defense was opportunistic and Portis blazed for a touchdown. And your shaky kicker sneaked that ball in. Novak had a lot of pressure on him, consider he missed that other high 40 yarder.

I think we have a very good quarterback in the making.

On the list of reasons why Dallas lost this one... that is, if you prefer to cite the officiating as one... the refs rank waaaay down there, IMO.

I'm not a fan of the 15-yard facemask either, but allowing an outside rusher to block a FG from that distance is tough to swallow.

The fact we can't defend deep passing (once again) is disturbing. That's where most of the penalty yardage came from.

Dropping sure touchdown passes.

It goes on and on.

Dallas had no business being in that position. A an aspiring playoff team can not continue to make same mistakes week after week. That's precisely when those aspirations get put to bed.

You guys are arguingof the refs lost the gameor the players.

I am reminded of Ohio State's win inthe Rose Bowl for the #1 championship. Sure there were a few bad calls. Either team should not have put themselves in that psosition.

BUT....

I think in this case a review shoul have been done. I don;t care if it was an "unreviewable judegement " call. Something like this should qualify for review or go ahead and stick the whole idea of "the play is being reviewed" up your ***!

Definitely a game the refs decided. Very sad.
