Let's not forget the top prospects when we started our draft prep

He has plenty of speed for a player of his size and has a huge catch radius. Does he need to improve his route runner? Yes, but so do most young receivers. Cannot discount his production
This - good athlete for his size, huge catch radius, elite ball skills and better route runner than most coming out of college.

He’s an easy eval for a 1st round WR IMO.

I was listening to Broaddus today, he made a good point that T-Mac is the better receiver, but Golden is a type of player our positional group doesn’t have and might be a better fit. He mentioned that they are going to try to sell Mingo as that big x receiver. I agree with his opinion, they still envision Mingo being part of their future.

Been saying this, a like all 4 receivers and would love to trade back and secure any of the 4

Just take the best player…we’ve seen what has happened with past draft picks trying to take better scheme fits.

How does a lazy person, who takes plays off improve his route running?

More importantly like you said. If he is the most productive in his class, why does he need to work on anything?

Therein lies the problem.

The consensus top players in this year's draft at the start of the process were:

-QB-Ward/Sanders
-RB-Jeanty
-WR-T-Mac
-OL-Campbell/Banks
-Edge-Carter/Williams/Pierce
-DT-Graham
-CB-Hunter/Johnson
-S-Starks

Sure the process has changed some of the rankings, but these players remain the blue/red chips of this year's class. After a few others who have rose, big drop-off in value. At 12, Cowboys remain in excellent position to take one of these prospects.
The top or our top? You can erase QB/S with our FO.

Hopefully all 3 get picked before us. That would leave 3 out of the remaining 9 for us to chose from or trade down.

Sounds like he runs poor routes. Is lazy when he knows the ball is not going to him. He strictly relies on his size. No way I am taking him at 12.
If he put up those numbers even though he was lazy and running bad routes then I'll take my chances.
