I don't "need" to win a Super Bowl. I don't win anything, personally. That's part of the issue, though: thinking that by Dak winning, we actually win, too.. I don't need Dak to win a Super Bowl to know he's playing lights out football, at the top of the league, as far as player.

I'd say Dak, Mahommes, and Purdy are the top players this year. And I'd take any of those three over hte next 5 years. Funny thing is, this proves that you don't necessarily have to spend a first round pick to get a top-tier QB.

Everybody’s on the same page Prescott was always top five. Players running precise routes. Releasing the football quicker. Putting players in in motion to see if it’s Man or zone coverage. It’s the entire thing. That’s what changed. You don’t become excellent overnight. You become a team. That’s what changed anybody with football knowledge would see this
Dak’s elevated play has very little to do with the cast around him.

If you think that then by all means go ahead and think that but you’re wrong.

Maybe not on the field but I definitely think it has a lot to do with the coaching changes. I think Schottenheimer and McCarthy are getting more of the good stuff out of him than did Moore and Tolzein. I thought Dak made significant strides when he was working with Kitna and kinda regressed a bit once Kitna left town. Long story short, coaching matters.

100% the coaching changes made a huge difference but the players on the team have very little to do with his improvement.

You can’t handle the truth
You're the one that can't even stand by your comments.
You're in no position to talk about the character of anyone considering your gross behavior.
At least Mahomes has acknowledged his mistakes. Much more than we can say for you.

SEA the only other team I can think of. DEN was 8-8 w/ Teblows.
Yep. That 2022 tampa team was an epically bad play-off team. Like 2-3 worst ever.

Love the win...great! But there's also a reality of the situation. That i snot a crowning achievement or something to boast and beat up other people with. Try as they might, because of their fragileness.

Maybe THIS year.

He is currently playing the best ball, as good as any other QB. We'll see how he closes out the season. He was pretty mediocre for the first 1/3 of the season and then started blasting off. As a fan obviously I want that to continue, but time will tell.

Wait a minute, Did Pat Mahomes fall off the planet or something lol?? I get it, Dak has been fantastic since the 49ers game, but let's not get carried away.. If the Chiefs had a WR that can actually catch a football they would be #1 Seed in the AFC right now, and Mahomes would be in the MVP conversation like he always is. I'm onboard with giving Dakota his credit for "balling out" these last 6-games, but let's not confuse playing the best, with being the best.

There is no one on this forum with a lick of sense that wouldn't trade him for Mahomes today.
I wish I could say that you are 100% correct, but sadly there are people who will ride with Dakota just out of sheer spite, knowing full well that Mahomes is light years ahead of him..

I don't know if he's going to win the MVP or if we're going to win every game but we need to stop dancing around it. Dak is playing the position better than any other QB in the game and has been for some time now. It's no longer about whether he's top 10 or "elite." It's about is anybody better. The argument could certainly be made that Purdy is certainly on the same level but that ignores the fact that he's getting WAY more YAC than Dak is and the main statistical advantage Purdy has right now is yards per attempt by 1.5 yards I believe and that is almost completely a result of the fact that the Niners' receivers are averaging 1.5 more yards per catch than the Cowboys' receivers. Purdy is clearly ballin, but Dak is ballin more! But at this point Dak and Purdy are 1 and 1a at the QB position. Nobody else is playing as well as those two.
Why did I get the impression that Risen wasn't gonna "like" this thresd?

Yes.

So now that I answered your question are you man enough to answer mine?

How many teams in the history of NFL have made the playoffs as losers?
Love schooling your types. It really gets y’all going. Now was the TB game a playoff game or not?
Interesting how you were NOT man enough to say it. You just got schooled sonny boy.

And I would still have a drink with you!

Purdy is excellent now but there still is not enough film on him. Dak has 8 years of film so he has seen every defense that he is going to see. The reality is San Francisco is loaded on offense and has a top level offensive coach. It’s a much different situation but Purdy is year one Dak. San Francisco has questions about the right side of their offensive line. Let’s see what happens in the playoffs.

Based on current QB market...Dak is worth his pay. Historic stats back it up.

If he is a choker in big games...ITS ON THE COACHES AND DEFENSE TO CARRY HIM TOO!

Pretty simple.

QB market is what it is. I dont completely agree with it. But Im not being unreasonable and putting all blame on highest paid player that can FOR SURE drive a bus when there are other elements on the game that need to carry him too.

Haters cant stand this point of view and are left scrambling for weak excuses and wordsmithing to justify hate.

It moves the conversation to...if you think Dak isnt a winner and will choke...are you suggesting you wouldnt have him on your roster for league minimum? A choker is a choker right? Why have him if he is a choker? Or...is there a dollar amount you think is justifiable? Say 30M. You think Dallas can put that much of a better roster around Dak with 15 to 20 extra mil? Sure...depth might be ok...but this team is already stacked with a high paid QB.

Either he is not roster-able or he is. Which is it haters?

The excuses are flimsy these days.

Was Mahomes nothing without Tyreek when he won mvp last year? Yes or no.

Failure to answer outs you as having no character.

If you answer yes, please do explain.
Don’t change the subject he is a media, loverboy, crybaby, and I stick to that. Show some character. Just because you are a character , doesn’t mean you have character.

You made that statement. You made it the subject.

How pathetic, classless and hypocritical. Bow your head in shame.
