Let's say the Giants draft a good QB like Shedeur

So this qb class seems pretty weak. I dont know much about Ward, who does he compare to from past draft classes?

Your missing the signs, lol, they just got milton, and that is their sole investment in a qb.
They are not drafting another one this year or next . Who knows about in 3 yrs.
I mean basically. I don’t know why fans just don’t take them for their actions…..people talking about corner and qb. They traded for Milton. You aren’t getting a corner in the draft. And they traded for Milton because it knew it would shut him his fanbase up. Hes fast and can throw far. There you go now shut up fans….not even realizing he’s a even worse prospect then Lance.

I think the Giants will take Carter . Thibodeaux has not been nearly what they expected . Wilson & Winston in 25 . Having Schoen the GM and the Bryan Cranston impersonator coach playing for there jobs next season is dangerous for the future , they have to show wins , improvement now not have Sanders carrying a clip board and yawning .

If Milton doesn't work out, we will be at the top of the draft board next year. Grabbing a franchise quarterback finally, after 30 years of futility.

I don’t think Dak can make it to another contract, this will be his last. I would set my sights on Arch in three years if he does develop into that franchise QB. At worst, he would sit for one season assuming Dak plays four more. Manning isn’t coming out early and should be playing all of his eligible years. That coincides nicely with the end of the Prescott era.
yeah right, Dak will end up having huge numbers the likes of which nobody's ever seen before, and Jerry will be forced to pay Dak another huge deal!! Will be here until he's 94!

The Eagles and Commanders have good and young QBs already. Dak was expensive but if he can play well for 3 or 4 more years, the other teams are going to have to give massive contracts to their QB.

If Dak only makes it 1 or 2 years Dallas will be stuck with the Cap but with those likely losing seasons, I could see them landing a top 5 pick and drafting their own rookie all star QB, so that kind of levels things out. So I think Dallas should build the team as though a rookie QB is coming in 2-3 years. Thoughts?
So going with the “if we suck really bad it is actually great” theory?

Dak is a middling QB who has lost mobility

He will not play 2 more full seasons IMO

Hes in the “i know im not great, i know im overpaid but i will stick around spouting cliches as a company man” mode

You know some of these hypotheticals are so too soon off base just you're overthinking stuff..

it'll just happen the way it happens and by the way what if Sanders turns out to be a total bust are you trying to tell me that doesn't happen??
we've seen this cycle in the NFC East before and the Cowboys still do very well in the NFC East they are not stretching some kind of gap on us Washington barely beat us last year the second game, I mean literally played our backups and we beat them and had them the 2nd game, twice the eagles played our backups, twice, we literally were decimated by injury.
so all this stuff you're overthinking the quarterback position...

I guess it's an important position and how do we know Jayden Daniels isn't going to have a sophomore slump and that Jalen hurts gets hurt and the giants have Sanders who doesn't work out or it takes some years to develop..

what if he's Baker Mayfield kinda good but not throws a lot of interceptions makes a lot of mistakes it's too big for him... What if Sanders is one of about 30 first round quarterbacks over the last decade that have been bad just what if he's an average guy and turns out to be more of a backup than a starter what if Oh my God what is Dallas gonna do then...

When the time comes Dallas will get another quarterback wherever that comes from I don't know look at Pittsburgh I mean the Steelers just been grabbing up regurgitated quarterbacks for a decade they haven't won a playoff game in a very long time but they've been to seven of them recently by just rotating out retreads...

what if what if what if what if .......

hey what if we stop with the what ifs let's just watch it lets watch it happen year in and year out it's a new year..

we got 17 games to watch just enjoy it or not I'm not worried about it who are next quarterback is who our next owner is our next GM our next head coach I just don't care we watch football with the product they put on the field is the product we watch...

I concur with this vision.

My God, it better be.
Maybe here,

but you do realize the nfl quarterback market is starved for bridge players, how do you think a guy like Russell Wilson and Kirk cousins is moving around now, still making some good money being a starter, could end up being a spot starter... Isn't Carson wentz still in the league? I mean even our own guy that just left how does a guy like Trey Lance or more so I'm touching on cooper rush...came here in 2017.. News about as close to a Jag as you can get just the average guy with average skills... That is going into his 9th year somehow keeping his career moving... Those are just a few examples, I don't wanna make this too long I'm just making a point the one position that seems to be able to live on for almost ever like a zombie would be the quarterback position,

so you play as long as you want... As much as manning and Brady were breaking down in their careers and I know they were better than these guys were discussing except for dak that's a very similar comp they were getting pretty beat up and the skill set slipping and yet they got paid and end up winning a Super Bowl somewhere else.

these guys can play as long as they want you know where they're not completely broken down and hurt all the time, we don't know he's working out a lot his diet's changing he could extend his career but it would be 4 more years here even though most of us think it might only be two if he's not playing well he's cut but sure common sense says it's probably his last contract here for sure...

Shedur would be a joke in the top 20.
He's going in the top 20 , I hate to break it to you which is funny because if he even makes it to 12, that would be surprising, you might want to prepare yourself for the Dallas Cowboys going ahead and taking Deion Sanders son here, because at 12 he might be worth the reach and a future quarterback that doesn't have to be rushed onto the field.. not saying he's going to be any good, but you are saying it's a joke, jokes on you!

This could be the best place for him or on a team lower in the draft, so he doesn't have to be forced on the field and feel pressured...

it's happening, why don't you go take a look at the history of the NFL and where quarterbacks are all pretty much taken too high... Given what most think is a real weak class, even next year might be a little weak as well, most of these QBS are going higher than you think, way higher..

I think he's a better prospect than say Trey Lance and look what they did with Trey Lance three first round picks for Trey Lance of all people there's examples of that all over the NFL at worst I don't think Sanders is gonna be worse than Ryan Tannehill Ryan Tannehill was a pretty solid starter he could be in that realm of players that are kind of mid but good starters not elite or living up to the hype but still good...

When you’re basing your chances that the three teams in your division quarterbacks simultaneously suffering sophomore slumps, missing many games to injury, and a highly touted rookie quarterback developing slowly, you know your chances aren’t good. Just like the Cowboys aren’t good.

Now how about reality? Daniels looks very good. Hurts plays his best in games that matter most. Wilson has a winning record in playoff games and has been to two Super Bowls, winning one. Joe Milton notwithstanding, the Cowboys “quarterback room” is the worst in the division. Winning two division games this season would be exceeding expectations.
