Lets See If Jalen Hurts Gets The Same Scrutiny As Dak Did

Of course, not lol.. Neither Hurts nor Purdy will receive the amount of scrutiny that the QB of the Dallas Cowboys get. No matter what, when you're the QB for the team with a blue star on its helmet be prepared to get half the credit when you win and all the blame when you lose. **Eagles, 49ers, Chiefs, Steelers, Raiders, Packers & Patriots are high profile teams with enormous exposure and popularity; Each team has a fan base that stretches all over the country but, there is only one America's Team. The Dallas Cowboys Brand is Iconic, no team in sports is bigger Box Office than them. So, when Dak throws a couple of INT's in a loss, it's national news and all the talking heads / networks want a piece of the action.

Eli Manning won 2 Superbowls, Rodgers won one. Who's the better quarterback? Apparently Manning is according to how you measure accomplishments.

Rodgers won A superbowl. The same amount as Nick Foles Joe Theismann, and Trent Dilpher. Does that mean they are all on the same talent tier??
Yeah, good try, but none of that has anything to do with my response, or this thread in general.

First off Dak is a disaster at QB. Hurt was a one hit wonder that played his best year last year, he is not a great QB and if the team falls short this year as expected he will be blasted by the fans.

One bad game doesn't make a trend, several bad games do.

Who cares?

If Dak wasn't on the cowboys you would hardly hear anything about him. He would just be another average quaterback. Switch and put (x) quarterback for the cowboys and they will get media blasted

It is what it is

BTW on local radio around here he's getting blasted

imo they've earned it. Everyone is getting bad mouthed every single time they do something wrong as far as I am concerned until they win an NFC championship game and show me they have the will to win

I don;t want to see anymore smiles when they are down 30-10 and just threw an INT.

I can both like the Cowboys as a team and still dislike how they are playing.
Lol hope it makes you feel better. Perhaps email Jerry that might change things

Who cares about Jalen Hurts?

Dak is going to be criticized when he plays poorly…especially on a site dedicated to the team he plays for. If you’re referring to the media or other fan bases well that comes with the territory. Romo dealt with it from the moment the ball slipped through his hands in Seattle.

It's easy to focus on one guy, Dak isn't all that, but he's far from the only issue we have. Again, take off the blinders....
There’s a part of me that wishes they’d just put in rush to shut up these pathetic whiners but I’m not sure it would

At this point with this pathetic offense that McCarthy rolled out doesn’t appear to require much of an arm so cooper may do ok

My guess is the same team flaws would rear their ugly head against other team regardless of who’s behind center

That is of the folks we can send out

Eagles lost, SF lost, I am glad.
I am more concerned over our game against LAC than I am what the media, local or national thinks or says about Hurts.

And it is not so much that Hurts should get criticized about his overall play. It should be that he had a bad game with 3 picks. So really needs to see what happens over the course of the season.
Just like Dak, let's see what happens going forward.

I just want to get a win tonight, even if an ugly win.

Crazy that the two players that truly elevated Philly and 49ers are players they traded for. Without those two, both teams would be significantly worse.
AJ Brown is to Hurtz ALMOST what Moss was to Culpepper.
Without McCaffrey, Purdy wouldn’t be a darling in SF right now as they’d be complaining about inability to score.
