It will be hard for Goff to play like Hurts, he just does not have the same ability to run like Hurts.

Oh definitely, and we likely feast on immobile qbs. I'm talking more fields, hurts again, jones, ect.

A bad groin, fatigue from being on the field after 3 and outs from our offense, and going against one of the best RT in football.

Also Quinn is going to have to scheme a bit better vs teams with mobile qbs. They will try to use the eagles game plan, Micah will need support because often he was having to read the QB and cover, with no help (like the td where he threw his arms up like "anyone ?????")

Yeah I have to admit I'm more than a little disappointed in Barr.. as a veteran I would have expected his recognition to be a lot better than it has been. I mean we've seen 4 years of LVE being who he is.. so I can't get worked up about his faults. I already knew what they were. I do think we've seen that some of the guys are just not assignment sound against this sort of offense. That has to get corrected or get new guys.. There is hope that the two LSU kids (Cox and Clark) can help with this sort of thing.. if for no other reason than they're much faster and have more recent experience playing against college offenses.. Maybe we can get them more involved as the season wears on..

As for 3 and outs by the offense.. try 1 and outs.. The first INT was on first INT was on first down right after we got the ball. Maddening!! Absolutely maddening..

"We" are not Dak.

Dak's the one that said once the offense gets healthy (meaning himself of course) that they are going to roll.

So, his play better not be a big part of the reason we lose this game and anything under 35 points will be a failure on his part.

Cooper Rush was drug through the mud for leading us to wins while scoring in the low 20s while having to hear how "if Dak played we'd score more blah blah blah" as if the points scored was more important than the wins.

He talked the talk the whole time he was "hurt" so now it's once again put up or shut up time for Dak.

I agree that he needs to put on a good show and demonstrate he plays better than Rush. Anything less than a convincing win would be a disappointment.

I think this is going to be a tough a game. Some facts about detroit.

1. Their secondary has been banged up. I think they had 3 or 4 starters out at one time and even had to resort to playing former cowboy cb Severin Smith at safety. They get a couple of starters back this week including Okudah.
2. Their OL is really good. Penei Sewell vs Micah is going to be fun to watch. The Lions passed on Micah to draft him.
3. They get back their top rb and wr for this game. DeAndre Swift is an elite talent and this could be a problem if they run the ball a lot.
4. They are coming off a bye week.

So, don't let their 1-4 record fool you.
