How much would we save by cutting A. Henry? Terry Glenn? Roy Williams?

CALM down people, I'm just curious, that's all.....
Henry - $600,000 savings (Keep: $4.6; Cut: $4.0)

Glenn - $1.7 million savings (Keep: $1.7; Cut: $0)

Roy - $720,000 loss (Keep: $5.94; Cut: $6.66)

These are approximate and are just based on reported contract details. There may be unreported provisions that affect the numbers.

As for Glenn, I think there's a good chance that this is his final season.

Wow, no Winicki in this thread yet?" ;)

IMO $2.4 million is nothing for a quality nose tackle in today's NFL where the likes of a Deon Grant get over $11 million in signing bonus alone.

Keep Fergy.

How do you define "big?"

Neither of these guys should be in the top 40 paid guys at their position in the league.

Much to your dismay Reeves will be demanding no such BIG payday.

Crayton won't be that big either.

Thanks! Not much saved by cutting Henry. Might as well keep him and prays he stays healthy. Would make a veryy good back-up CB/FS. Glenn is most likely done so cut. Was just curious about Roy. Looks like we're locked in w/ him. He should be excelling more in Wade's defense. He's been solid, but I was expecting better than solid. Oh well.....

None of this is true. Barber will get no more than the highest tender to keep a RFA. No one is going to give a 1 and 3 for him.

Reeves just won't get paid much. He might get some, but we would sooner let him walk than pay him starter money.

Crayton is on the verge of being signed for a very reasonable salary. Add in that our cap situation is fine and I see no reason we couldn't keep fergy. We just have to decide if we can get play commensurate with his pay.

I'd rather not pay top dollar for a free agent corner and I'd rather not start a rookie corner, even a first rounder, so Henry shouldn't be backing anyone up next season.

I would agree BUT Henry just hasn't showed he can stay healthy. It seems like he's been hurt every year since he signed. He may become a back-up by default.....:(

If that happens, then so be it, but I see no reason to force him into that position by choice.
