Ferguson came aboard so they let Schultz go . Maybe that wasn’t the best decision. Schultz can actually go downfield help the QB .

I'm not a big Ferguson apologist but he rarely gets a free release anymore because our OTs suck so badly. He has to chip or even worse, stay inline A LOT. He's not built for that role but in typical Cowboys tradition, we're squeezing a square peg into a round hole

What is his role in this offense? He’s not a FB, he never gets carries, we rarely throw to him. Case in point, on the goal line he completely wiffed a backside block on Rees and allowed Rees to fly over the top of him and get to JW.

The giants showed how to use a FB. I just don’t see what value he is bringing.

Look how the 49ers, and the Giants used their FB’s. If we used him like that, I’d be ok with a FB on the roster. Other than that, it’s a laughable waste of a roster spot.
