I am negative to a point. This team made me that way. Can't help it.

I feel you. I've been very negative for the past 19 years when it comes to the Cowboys. I was extremely negative during and after the Niners game. It was frustrating because it looked like Romo was finished, and we let a team beat us despite playing better than them. But yesterday was strange. After going down 10-0 to the champs in their own home, I was reading people starting to freak out, but I knew we were still in it. Even after we continued to shoot ourselves in the foot and needed to convert a 3rd and 20 to win the game, I still had a feeling. Now, we're probably gonna lose a few more this year. But the way we're playing, I don't think anyone is better than us.

The Cowboys have always had one of the largest bandwagons in the NFL. I don't have a problem with people jumping off and on. Doesn't mean squat to me when comes to being a Cowboys fan.

As for me personally, I've never felt the need to jump off. I may move around on the bandwagon from time to time depending on how things are going. Sometimes I may be pretty close to the front, sometimes I may hangout around the exit. Up until recently, I've been bellying up to the bandwagon bar drowning my sorrows.

I'm not quite sure about qualifying anyone's level of fanaticism. As sure as my brother and I might go back and forth about the two-deep depth chart for the 1974 club, poking each other along the way, someone like my father might just scoff and drone on and on about the early sixties - an area in which I would be sorely lacking.

As far as the bandwagon goes, what do I care? People rise and fall with their team in whatever manner they choose; it's really not for me to personally audit every potential newbie claiming to be true blue.

Crap....

Should've went to Training Camp this past Summer.. It's all but guaranteed it will be a mad house next year.. All those shiny new jerseys everywhere.. "Fans" calling out Names of the past, thinking they are still on the team. LOL. ahhahahaha

Why do we worry so much about what other fans do/think? Seriously. Some fans are homers no matter what and we could lose for 100 years and the don't complain. Other fans , you make one bad move, and they hate you for the time being. But at the end of the day, I don't care. I only care about how I feel about the team, so if you want to be a fan for the first time, I'm happy with that. If you are fickle, I'm cool with that. If you're a homer, I'm good with that. The only thing I don't like is fans telling me how to feel and what level of fan they think I am based on their (made up criteria which no one cares about)

Big shout out to all the fair weathered fans that are back on the scene now. I get a little chuckle when ever I'm on any social media and see "how about them Cowboys" from fans that I know are clueless about the team. When ever I'm discussing the Cowboys with a so called "Cowboys fan", I always ask, "what's our left tackle's name?". And you would be surprised at how many of them have no clue, but can name the superstars. For me, that's where the conversation ends and I just keep it to the basics.

But hey, we love having ya!

I'm not home (you're better than me).

I love seeing people's posts on the Cowboys' Facebook news stories about how "Whitten" is their favorite player.

One of the most successful, longest-tenured, and best known Cowboys of all-time, and our "fans" can't even spell his very straightforward and uncomplicated name.

Pure unadulterated comedy.

I don't post much but I have been here for awhile and been a Cowboys fan since the late 70s early 80s. They are the team I grew up watching with my dad and they will be my team through thick and thin.
