I thought he was referring to the players. Since they are the ones that don't have anything to do, unlike normal 9-5 people.

"Do this research if we don't have a season -- watch how much evil, which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our game," Lewis told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

That's because, Lewis said, the NFL lockout affects "way more than us" -- the owners and the players.

............................

Those comments indicate to me that he's referring to fans. I doubt he'd come out and say that if there's no season all the players are going to go on a crime spree. lol

Ray Lewish KNOWS crime, so I believe him.

In other news, the long-awaited brain charting analysis of Ray Lewis has been completed by NASA and the AMA.
There are no discernable brainwaves or activity in his brain, save random thoughts about "messsing up that guy real bad after he got me in trouble."

the mind is a terrible thing.

Judge: You are being charged with murder, how do you plead?
Me: Not guilty you honor.
Judge: On what grounds?
Me: It was sunday and there was no football.
Judge: You are free to go.

Judge: How do you plead to accessory to murder, Mr. Lewis?:
Ray Lewis: I plead insanity.
Judge: Insanity???
Ray Lewis: Yes, your honors, I'm just crazy about getting into fights and leaving in a limo with bloodied clothing.

Ray Lewis hasn't been in the headlines during the longest work stoppage in NFL history, but that doesn't mean the man is without an opinion.

The longtime Baltimore Ravens linebacker said in an interview with ESPN that he believes the consequences of a lingering lockout will be negative and far-reaching.

"Do this research if we don't have a season -- watch how much evil, which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our game," Lewis said.

When asked why crime would increase, the 12-time Pro Bowl player said "there's nothing else to do."

Reminds me of this old magazine cover.

So people that normally live without football, minus 22 weeks in a year, are going to commit crimes without it? That doesn't seem logical.

Speaking of crime, I think it's interesting that everyone always talks about OJ and forgets that Ray stabbed two people to death and got off

Agree. It really is something to see.

Ray Lewis insulted every NFL fan.

Depending on the season starting or not I do have a contingency play on knocking over a bank. Really comes down to owners or player hammering out a deal or not. :lmao:

What are you two talking about ? He didn't stab anyone. He was there when it happened. Clearly no one has forgotten the incident, but some of you perhaps some of the details.

He is saying the same thing that all of the other people are saying about how it will rollover into the community for the fans, kids, hot dog vendor, parking attendant, etc.

He just phrased it like an idiot. Keep your mouth shut Ray. You have no business ever speaking about crime.

Which of course is why he disposed of his clothes from the night of the incident, fled the scene and was charged with two counts of murder in the second degree as well as aggravated assault. The only question is whether or not he acted alone or if Reginald Oakley and Joseph Sweeting (the two guys he agreed to testify against in exchange for the charges to be dropped) were also involved in the murders.

When I'm not watching football I am generally dealing and raping so Ray has a bit of a point.

At the same time? Or do you reserve slots for each?

"Well, looking for a job is out of the question. Lord knows I'm not volunteering a damn thing to anyone. To big to fit on the swing set at the local park, too old to pick up skateboarding. Can't grow a Justin Bieber haircut so I can't spend my day grooming. Don't have an Xbox or PS3 and I can't stand working out. Well.........got nothing else to do so I might as well go **** some **** up".

Honestly though, what WILL all those inner city Detroit hoodrats do with their time without the grand success of the Lions to occupy their attention?

Another valid question is whether or not the city of Jacksonville will even notice
