I don't think it's really a matter of being in patient so much as it isthe way the game has changed over the years. In the old days, you could develope a lineman in the right way. In todays game, you got 4 years and then the player is free to move on. If you re-invest in them, you have no guarantee they will develope or you are forced with a situation where they move on and now you've developed a player for another franchise. It's a difficult thing to master. Ultimatly, your forced into a situation where you have to make hard and fast decision on who and where you develope. The three year rule is a pretty good one. Show me something in three or move on.
