He is only 23 or 24 and already can legitimately be considered one of the greatest ever. Like some stated earlier, if he wants to join the pele/maradona discussion he is going to have to win a world cup or copa America title with Argentina first

Phil "The Power" Taylor. Don't like the guy but can't deny his dominance. If anyone knows him without google then I'll be impressed.

He's scored the same number of goals in his last seven games as Torres, Carroll and Suarez have in their last 103 combined league games.

Er yes....but then you'd expect me to. 13 times World Champion? Or something like that.

Was pretty gutting, thought we were on for the treble. Fair play to Killie though they took advantage of us underperforming, their 'keeper had the game of his life and they took their chance at the end. Now just hoping Killie can do us a favour on Saturday and take something off Motherwell so we can win the league Sunday at Mordor. Going back to Glasgow to watch it with a few of the Bhoys in a good Celtic friendly pub and thinking it could be quite the day of celebration.

Fair play, I didn't see any of the game (my son was playing at the time) but thought the result was a foregone conclusion to be honest.
But I guess that's football, the best team doesn't always win (especially when the other keeper has a blinder).

I'm off to Wembley on Sunday for the JPT Final.
We have a couple of your (not so) old boys in our team (Simon Ferry & Paul Caddis) so looking forward to a goof day out & hopefully a trophy to bring home.

Personally I don't have a real preference for either of the old firm, but hope your weekend turns out well :)

Don't think I realised you were a Swindon fan. I take it Cuthbert never made it then? As much as I hate the mans politics I can't help liking crazy Paolo, what a player he was. Him, Van Hooijdonk and Jorge Cadette (the three amigos) was one of the most entertaining forward lines I've had the pleasure of watching in the hoops. All nutters mind you.
Does Caddis still play at right back? I always thought he would be better a wee bit further forward. Hopefully you win on Sunday anyway mate, I quite envy fans of "small" teams at times like this to be honest, getting to Wembley is more of a big deal than us getting to Hampden because I'm so accustomed to us playing their year in year out. Have a great time and hopefully we'll both be celebrating Sunday evening.

Cuthbert did ok for us for a couple of years, left at the end of last season when we got relegated, he's at Orient now.

Paolo is an absolute legend, he did divide opinion a bit when he arrived, but he has such a passion for the game that it rubs off on the players.

He doesn't take any messing though, if he feels a player isn't putting the effort in they are most definitely out of his plans until they prove otherwise in training.

Caddis is playing right back, but it doesn't stop him getting forward at every opportunity. He is the captain, and although he has been injured for the last few weeks were very much hoping that he will be back to lead the team out tomorrow. He's been one of the players of the season for us, much too good for League 2.

As you say, being one of the smaller teams a day out a Wembley is a big deal. We were there a couple of years ago in the play-off final, and previous to that is was nearly 20 years since our last visit.

I watched most of the Celtic game. I thought it was a solid match.

Thiago Silva is out for a month so Messi may have his way with Milans defense :(.

I've not watched the game back but felt watching it live that the big decisions went against us. In saying that Rangers were the better team on the day and deserved the win. I actually had a pretty good day despite the result, still a good atmosphere and singing in the pub. It helps that we knew it was just delaying the inevitable I guess, hopefully Rangers drop points on Saturday and it can be Sunday when I'm at Celtic Park. Worrying that for the 2nd week running our big players didn't perform in a big game though.
Was disapointing seeing the Swindon result come through as well, still we should both be celebrating at the end of the season.
