and Dallas still beat them.

Ive watched some Lions football and that team played almost perfect for 3 quarters. It was definitely their "day" for 45 minutes.

The worm turns now however.

Either this close win calms Dallas down or it spent too much emotional and physical energy. I'd generously give each scenario 50/50%

The post game celebration looked a little bit like SuperBowl victory lite and not like a team that expected to win this game and the next.

I know everyone is saying the right thing, but if even 5% satisfaction creeps in or 5% of emotional energy reserves arent there next Sunday, the Packers will pounce.

Dallas has to go to Lambeau and play like they did on the road in Seattle. Long drives, ball control and putting the pressure on Rogers to score everytime while getting cold on the sidelines between drives.

Wonder if this mountain is just too tall or not.

The Cowboys keep rising to the occasion and Green Bay is definitely beatable. Hopefully we will keep it on the ground in the cold. If we have success running the ball I like our chances. I hope the defense steps up again. This will be the biggest win in a long time if we can get it.

It's time to put our big boy britches on and go on the road in the cold and in a hostile environment and play the kind of ball that we are capable of. Ball-control, mistake free, opportune football.

These players are professionals and if you have seen the intensity that Dez and this ballclub have exhibited throughout the last 6 weeks it will tell you all you need to know about how focused they are.

It's all good that they celebrated a playoff win. They know what lies ahead and are up to the challenge I believe.

Lions spent resources over the years on the D Line and it showed. Stafford OTOH appears to be lacking something, of course his O Line is nothing to write home about.

If the Lions had a couple of oline upgrades, I'd imagine Stafford is good enough. He's never going to be anything more than just a good QB on his best day though.

I'll agree that they played their best half of football but I can't say their best game. That first half of football though is as good as it gets in this league.

Detroit prob played their best on offense 1st quarter, but quarters 2-4 don't think that was their best. Detroit's d maybe yes all 4 quarters.

I just dont know about this game....I cant get a feel for it.

I got a feel for the Lions game and even posted that before the game and I was pretty close.

But this one, I just dont know......

I could see either team running away with it, just on emotion alone.

but since its in GB, that probably wont be Dallas.

I figure its much like a game that Det-GB and Det-Dallas had. that kind of game.

I think the two teams are equal; But GB gets plus 1 for being at home.

If we win this game, ill go ahead and predict a W over Seattle right now.....

I haven't been able to get this team all season.
They are pure joy. One thing I do get is
were back and will have a run for some years.

Dallas didn't plan on the exotic blitzes the Lions brought out, nor the things they did on offense. We adjusted pretty good, I just feel like if we fall behind trying to figure out what the Wackers are trying to do, we may be in too deep a hole to come out of. The key is a strong start, and don't lag behind. Offense has GOT to set the tone, no bull******** around. If we fall behind by a couple of TDs, we're probably done, IMO.

The mountain is also tall for Green Bay even if they re playing at home.

Agree. Green Bay has more to prove at this point than we do.

1. Seeded higher

2. Already won a more recent SB

3. QB, even if hurt , is considered MVP candidate ( more pressure to perform)

4. Lambeau tradition to uphold, and Media darlings...

5. Didn't make it last year

Add yours.......

I don't think there's any more pressure being seeded higher. They finished with the same record as the Cowboys.

They do go into this game as the team most expect to win but I don't really care about that either. These Cowboys do well under pressure.

I just want to get this game into the 4th quarter still tight. Then let's see who has the most heart.
