Lions Release Reggie Bush

There's only one RB in their 30's (at the start of the season) that I'm interested in.

My pick of Melvin Gordon to go with Joque Bell looks good now.

Yeah, he started out fine at the beginning of the season, but was not as effective in the second half, IMO

700 yds and 6 TDs on 100 touches, I'd say he wasn't the reason

Add 500 yds and 2 TDs on Punt returns and I would say Philly was extremely pleased with Sproles

You want an example of someone so totally over rated coming into the NFL - this is the best example I can think of over the last 10 years.

Its funny because I called it leading up to his draft selection and said he would be good but not special. I say funny because I remember several people (not here) saying I knew nothing about football.

Plus Linehan. Bush had 1500 total yards in 2013 as a spot player, Linehan clearly knows how to use him.

He was very explosive at times, but also always nicked up it seems. Im not sure if he has ever been used properly. At something a little over the vet minimum Im interested with Linehan on board. Not sure how Linehan feels about that though.

2013 with Linehan 14 games 223 rushes 1,006 yds 4.5 avg. 4TD 54 catches 506 yds 9.4 avg 3TD with a 77td reception.

I dont know for sure. Think he came into the league and everyone tried to use him as a fulltime rb, he had injuries so I guess Im saying that he just never seemed to jell at what he was supposed to do. It was kind like is he a fulltime rb or is he a 3rd down package guy. May be worth a shot as a supplemental player.

he was never that good. Had nothing to do with his so called use.
