He was attacked by a group of guys for no reason. Well actually they thought he was with another group they'd just got through arguing with. Mistaken identity.

But he did get a DUI soon after his mom passed. Which is pretty understandable.

Not with his rookie preseason numbers:

78.0% 454 (9.1) 5 td 0 int 137.8 - 7 rushes 53 yds 7.6 avg 2 td 0 fumbles

While I agree they wouldn't have put him on the PS in 2016 but it would not have been because of those numbers. Keep in mind, that if Romo and Moore aren't hurt, Dak sees very little playing time in Pre Season and when he would have, it would have been surrounded by scrubs, like Mike White last year. His numbers would have been in the toilet, as are most 3rd string rookie QB who don't get to play with decent players.

I knew he was too. This thread is about a QB. The posts, in large part, on this thread are about QBs. Therefore, it is safe to think that the position implied in the post was........QB.
