not rushing the passer they don't

exactly Andre Carter is good. Had a slow start last year but finished well, and that has carried over to this year, but Phillip Daniels and Montgomery are run defenders only and Griffin isn't much of a pass rusher either.

I think it takes more than two weeks to get over a back injury.

That's nice and all, but then why activate him? Why start him?

He had the majority of the snaps in the first quarter, I just haven't seen him in a while.

your joking right?
Okay, maybe not great, but the few games I've watched of them, they were constantly putting pressure on QBs.

They are putting pressure on detroit is crap. Otherwise they have to blitz to create pressure.

Maybe his back was fine in the first quarter, then the shot for pain wore off and he started to feel those hits.

Just guessing since I'm not watching the game. However, I have had back injuries. Amazed me, he was out there to begin with.

The Foreskins do run the ball well.. against the Lions and their D has shut down the Lions passing game. It's a great game plan but the Lions dont have guys like Witten working the middle of the field. This is a one game plan that definately wont work against the Cowboys. This game shouldnt even be a 2 td game as much as they have dominated, but I'm still not overly impressed by the skins.

Jason Campbell is starting to look pretty good, granted, the Lions defense isn't exactly star studded, but still.

Lions havent' tried to adapt their game plan.

Oh I could, because there's more of them NOT cute than there are who are.

It's not like being cute is a prerequisite to playing ball. If it was, then none of the major sports would be able to be successful.

against a poor Dolphin line, an Eagle line that just gave up an NFL record 12 sacks, and now going up against a terrible Detroit line

they're getting pressure against the Lions w/ just a 4 man rush, because the Lion's Oline is just that bad, that won't happen against us, so they'll have to blitz, putting the onus on the secondary to cover our plethora of targets, TO, Witten, Crayton, hell, even throw in Hurd and Fasano, which they won't, because they have one good player in the secondary, Springs, who no doubt will be hurt when we play them

I hear ya, I'm in the same boat. Just bums me out that he's not out there and this will be one of few times I'll get to watch him in the DC area...plus he's on my fantasy team. I would just think that they wouldn't even activate him if he wasn't 100%. :banghead:

Game pretty much over...and I just lost in FF. Double damn.

Lions on the road have been horrid this year.

You can always count on Martz to go away from the run when it's working.

btw, anyone think the Commanders are going to get this much pressure on our line?

Not as much pressure as the Lions are giving up, but we have a smarter QB who can not only avoid the rush, but also makes great plays on the run and out of the pocket.

Kitna blows at that.

It is absolutely pathetic when 7 guys can't block 4. Pathetic.

...and Kitna just threw an INT to Sean Taylor...right to him. I mean no one, NO ONE, was even close in a Lions uni.

I think he just earned me negative points in fantasy.

LOL, Campbell's career high completion number is 23 and passing yards is 243

does Campbell put collagen in his lips or something? he's got some huge, feminine puckers there
