But don't forget we got Barry Church as an UDFA that year, so that is 3 starters from that year's college crop. McCray was also found that year and he is a special teams staple.

I think they just liked Cohen and Hayden a lot more in this scheme and Liss simply didn't fit it well. Once those two guys showed they could play pretty well, it sealed Liss's fate, IMO.

Don't forget Church and McCray from that year's college crop. That is 3 starters and 1 special teams ace. Not a bad year.

I remember being told it was way too early to know anything about Sam Young.
