List of 2025 Free agent QBs ( Backup for Dak)

Both have been questionable at times for sure.

But specific to this discussion I'm focusing on Dak as a reply to Aerolithe stating that having Dak back for the playoffs would be invaluable

Everyone sucked against GB

But some previous years against SF our defense was very solid and Dak pretty much crapped all over himself
Sure

QBs who’ve notably missed time by injury since the start of the 2020 season:

Joe Burrow, 13 games

Lamar Jackson, 12 games

Aaron Rodgers, 16 games

Matt Stafford, 10 games

Jalen Hurts, 4 games

Daniel Jones, 19 games

Tua Tagovailoa, 12 games

Dak Prescott, 25 games

Backup QB has become one of the most important positions on the Dallas Cowboys. Paying that position like a low end starter may be the most sensical thing to do. Get Jameis, get Dobbs, get Garoppolo.
Dak "La Gimp" Prescott.............................ou la la.

A capable backup in Dallas would expose their starter as an overpaid fraud.
Rumor has it, next season, Jerry will select random fans from the stands to be backup QB for each home game. Road game backup QBs will be selected from outside the local Home Depot.

It's been that way with us before.....Tony Romo wasn't a durable QB. Names like Weeden, Kitna, KMoore, Cassel, and now Rush, Dalton, Nooch are familiar. This is not a new or just Dak issue....always been an issue. Now what?
So it's still a Dak issue, despite what's been before. Now what?

You Daksters get less and less creative, shame on you.

76ers?

LOL....Yep, that's him!

After looking over that list there is only one choice and that Carson The God Wentz. That guy from what I read on here can do it all even catch his own passes.

Has nothing to do with love for Dak.....we simply need to secure a better backup going forward.....we've never had a viable one for years. You're right it's Dak now, so the Cowboys should do better since he's been injured. It's not Cooper Rush that you probably hailed.

BTW, it always seems to be a resilience to a point regarding or including Dak and our past trends with starting QBs (Romo) that come with eagerness to make a claim for Dak hate. It's about all our starting QBs period, not love for just one, we did the same with Romo and I gave you the names, to no avail to any kind of understanding. Not surprising at all.
