Ugly: That spike on first down. We ended up losing the game because of that.
I am willing to give the guy his three years but I got a feeling he never lives up to his draft status. That just cant happen in that situation.
I studied him before that draft as I do every year for top 50 type guys. Byron Jones is not a natural cover guy. Forget this game, the guy simply doesnt make enough plays at this point or shut down his man enough to warrant that high a pick. Also he better make it at FS because he was far from shutdown at corner last year so that doesnt look like a fall back option.First year starting safety... Played well for the most part this season.

So far it hasnt come close to play making which is what you are looking for at the FS position.He was a workout warrior at the combine how often does that actually workout?
