There are a few more that come here incognito...however, they eventually reveal themselves...

You're right, you can't help me there because you are wrong. Making this move now, removes the chance of you getting the best possible deal for the #6 pick. Yeah, you add draft picks. Maybe one more than if you held out.

Dude, did I not say what if Brady Quinn is there and teams want to get in front of Minnesota for a QB? Are you even paying attention?

Did I not point out that you could get a higher pick in the 1st round and higher picks in other rounds than Denver can offer?

So, then it all boils down to Dre Bly as the clincher. Sorry, I don't see a Dre Bly as the deal maker. The gotta have player that makes this deal a must do. He's okay. I like him. I like Springs too for that matter.

Yuck.

So after reading your reply, I now have no idea what the hell we are arguing about

Both of us agree more picks are better

Both of us agree Washington should wait before making a move

Both of us really have no clue this move will be made

Both of us agree a trade down can happen without Dre Bly involved and Washington will be just fine with Shawn Springs

Duly noted, sorry for the delay in reply, I do have a job in the DC area which involves protecting you and all you love. Until later....

It seems that anyone talking stupid on this board gets slammed.

Thanks for the protection! Now beat it!

Doesn't that occur on any messageboard?

And usually guests are not given the benifit of the doubt?

Thats why I come here from time to time. Its a challenge

I wouldn't be trying to pimp him if I were you, and what the hell has McIntosh and Golston done?

:lmao: at Carlos 'burnt toast' Rogers

do you like being abused online?

Sean Taylor still made the pro bowl too. LOL

The only reason that Taylor made the probowl was because most of the players over there rented ATV's to ride the beaches and they needed someone to protect those ATV's...

But, Taylor did jack up a kicker...so that made the RedStinks fans happy!

I dunno. I said from the get go it was a bad deal that I wouldn't do and you asked me why. Then when I explained it you tried to make it something that it never was.

Both of us agree more picks are better
No, I don't agree with this part. I have repeatedly said that 2 picks can be better than 3 if the quality of the picks is better.

For example, in this imaginary deal deal Denver offers #21, #56, & #86.

If Miami has an offer of #9, & #40 I think that is the better deal to make because you can get higher quality players.

Both of us agree Washington should wait before making a move
Absolutely. I feel they totally blew it in the past with pre draft trades.

Both of us really have no clue this move will be made
Right, this is just speculation.

I like Springs better in fact.

NSA? My Brother-in-Law works there.

"Oh, and for the record, I think we paid too much, but we had to make a move. That's life."

Yep and the Skins last year "felt they needed to make some moves" - sometimes they pan out (Washington, Moss, Portis, Griffin, etc.) sometimes they don't (Archuleta, Lloyd, Duckett). Why is it when the Commanders do it it's foolish, but when the Cowboys do it...such is life? That's the part I don't get. Obviously I am touching a nerve here or you wouldn't get so wriled up.

"Well, for one thing we haven't pissed away our Draft choices for several years in a row and told people that established players are better than Draft choices. We haven't traded the best CB on our team (possibly in the NFL) for a RB who was "perhaps" in the top 10 for RBs. We haven't given up 2 Draft choices for a player who rarely played."

He didn't become the "Top DB" until he went to the Broncos - you've been reading Dr. Z haven't you? Most media "experts" said he was an above-average CB. The 2nd rd pick they gave up I was unhappy about...but you make it sound like all Cowboys moves are sheer genius.

IN all honesty - what have the Cowboys won in the past 10 years? Nothing. For all the talent you say they have - they still have folded every year for the past 4 years. And they still haven't managed to win a playoff game in 11 years. So what leg do the Cowboys have to stand on? You attack the Skins all the time. But really, the Cowboys don't have too much to show for it...

Gotta love it when someone can't use the quote function so they have to copy in what they are responding to.

If you want to, go ahead and read my responses later in the thread to skinshokie. I admitted I liked the Randy Thomas signing and the Troy Vincent signing though I laughed like crazy that he was signed because you flubbed up on Archuleta.

No one whom I do happen to read can influence me to the point where I am stupid. I felt Champ bailey was a top 5 CB when he played for the Skins. Perhaps even the best CB in the game.

Hey Norman, in the last 10 years if you compare our record to yours it will show you something really interesting. Your Skins have a better record by 1/2 game by virtue of a tie. Congrats on that 1/2 game. You rock.

We attack the Skins all the time because we are Cowboys fans and this is a Cowboys site. It doesn't required synapses to fire to figure that out. That's remedial math. Which apparently means it is over your head.

I find it laughable that sonny boy over here is trying to vindicate the Skins moves by saying, "oh look, you didn't hit on all your FA signings, so it's ok"

First I was like..

"Hey - Bob Sacamano stole summer's sig!"

then I was like

"Oh."

Commanders fans are so annoying.

This is even funnier if know what Sacamano means.

1/2 game by a virtue of a tie. Ok...so thank you for proving my point. The Cowboys have not done any better...they have done worse (by a fraction of a hair) but it proves my point. As much flack

Oh does that include Playoff records?

Sonny, out of curiosity, do you know what the all-time record is between the two franchises?

How many Lombardis does each team have?

last 4 years? Cowboys, 34-32, 2 playoff berths, Skins...?

and really, you need to stop pimping that 1 playoff victory, which happened to be the weakest one in NFL history

just look at our team's starters, depth and cap situation
