Wow, Horn fans have a pretty short memory... talking Holiday Bowl smack. Wasn't too long ago you had a standing reservation there... getting beat by some pretty mediocre Pac 10 teams as well if I recall correctly.

the glaring difference between the two is that Texas ended up in the holiday bowl b/c they were a talented team that underachieved, and then couldn't care less that they were there.

a and m ends up there b/c it's the best they can do, and they still get waxed.

and it's not sour grapes. i just don't care about either one of those schools.

and come to think of it...that goes for all the other bcs games too. i mean, is ANYONE gonna watch the orange bowl? or boise state?

the sugar is ok, i guess.

pasadena is the only true exception. the rose bowl is the only super enticing matchup, IMO.

well, Texas may very well lose today...who knows....but you can call it whatever you want. doesn't change the fact that Texas won the trophy. you guys can't even win a freakin useless BOWL game, let alone a meaningful one.

As much as I have bashed this bowl season, there have been some nice games the past two days......Okie State/Alabama, Tech/Minnesota, and the Mizzou-Oregon State games were all very good....as was the Houston/South Carolina game.

I would laugh at A&M but can't because I root for all Big XII teams when it comes to bowl season, just as I will root for UT today.

It has been a really good bowl season so far. And, as much as I'm a VOLS & SEC fan, I wanted Alabama to lose and hope Ohio State kills Florida. My SEC loyalty isn's all-encompassing.


Also, rumor has it that Saddam's last words were "I emphatically deny any interest in the Bama job".

The best bowl game this year is going to be the Rose Bowl - USC/Michigan.

Florida won't even be able to give OSU a challenge, then again who can except Michigan.
