After this game the ONLY player Dallas locks up is Lee......Mo did nothing but benefit from poor and dropped passes......

Have you seen him the past few years?

Have you seen him the past few years?

Jerry Jones was being questioned for extending Scandrick, and now Scandrick is arguably the best CB on the team. The CB position takes time to learn and Carr is leaving after this year, so you're going to have to drop money on the CB position period. Might as well see if we can get a discount by signing him early. Look at how much money Maxwell just got.

He already owes us 2 good years. Give me this year and a huge discount next year and then we talk.

I completely understand that. I'm not advocating against signing him. I just want to see him do it and stay healthy for more than 2 games.

If he's still playing this well at game 12, I'd be okay with the team offering him a small 2yr deal.

A small 2 year deal? If he's playing at a high level after going up against Brees, Rodgers, Brady, and Ryan - you give him a bigger deal than 2 years. That would make him near a shutdown corner, and those are hard to find. Lock him up for at least 4 years.

Some of you are acting like Claiborne is some All-World CB now. He's playing above average for 2 games. Jeez.

He's actually played great the past 2 games, hardly been targeted.

And you said after 12 games, if he plays exactly like he has for 12 straight games, that would make it clear the light has come on for him. People are just giving him credit where it's due; he's played great. We'll see if it holds up.

I completely agree that he's been a positive contributor to the team. Look, I'm usually the biggest homer this team has and I even predicted that Mo would have a great season. I'm just not ready to go breaking the bank for the guy just yet. He's played the Giants, whose receivers drop as many as they catch (granted, OBJ is a great WR), and a hot mess of a QB in Bradford.

Can we see how he performs against an elite QB and an elite WR first?

The next few weeks will be telling, for sure. I'd love nothing more than for him to keep this up. It can only help this team. :)

Mo was beat a few times by Cooper. Sam just couldn't hit him.

Mo is a lose lose situation

There is no way we can give him a big contract after one good year
He leaves and you know he will play another 10 years

Take the comp pick and move on

I saw him get "beat" once by Cooper, not sure about the other times.

Three times total. QB just couldn't hit him. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for Mo he's playing better and I hope he keeps it up! He was burned 2 or 3 times though.

You can, as long as it's not a ridiculous contract.

Brandon Carr probably won't be here next year. I would like at least one of our CBs locked up and look into drafting one more. If Claiborne plays well this year, it would at least prove he's ready to move into the #1 role or we can move to free agency to sign one.

I am not so sure Carr is gone, if we can get him at his value I would be in favor of him resigning.

He has played well so far. Not to the extent however of locking him up long term. Unless, he takes the ultimate sweetheart deal in NFL history.
