LOL! Ed Werder ON ESPN said Jerry Ripped Team in the locker Room...

i have no problem with jerry chewing them out but seriously it just makes me hate Wade more and more that the freakin owner has to do his job for him. that alone says it all!

I hope that isnt true.

If he is in there scolding the team then this thing is even more off the road than I even think it is.

I almost had respect for jerry again going into the 05 season, now that is long gone again.
the good thing is the fair weather fans will thin out.

Actually, I have even more respect for him after this.

When I do a half-arsed job, my boss yells at me too.

I'd have more respect for Jerry if he'd just officially take over the HC position and quit hiring puppets like Switzer, Gailey, Campo and Phillips. I'd hate for him to be the HC but I would atleast have alittle more respect for him if he'd just go and do it. I mean why the heck not it's what he's really always wanted and it's really what has held this franchise back for over a decade. I wish he'd do it for a few years and get it over with.:(

If Jerry wants to make a statement he needs to make a cut. Start with Carpenters stinking carcass.:laugh2:

This is my take....

Jerry has proven that he will do whatever it takes to win....he will give guys second, third, and even 4th chances. He isn't afraid to pay his players. He stands by them on and off the field. He is an awesome owner. I mean after all the nonsense that Irvin did, the guy he chose to induct him into the HOF was Jerry Jones....cause Jerry was like a father to him.

I just don't get the players on this team. Jerry is willing to give them whatever they want, basically......and all he asks for is max effort and winning. Now of course, you can't always win, but there is no excuse for anything less than max effort.

If I were a player, I would be embarrassed and unable to even look Jerry in the eye if I knew I wasn't giving more than my 100%.

BTW, this includes coaches as well.

I was watching the game with my dad and bro. My dad said that Jerry should act like the owner from Major League and make the team fly in a broken down prop plane or a beat up bus with no restroom until they get their crap together. I had a good laugh.

Typical ignorant "fan".

Carpenter actually played well in his limited opportunities today. The play after he came in for James he tackled Jackson (solo) after a short gain. Also saw him get a hit on the QB after a Ware sack.

Yeah, let's cut a guy that actually played ok when he got in the game.

Sad thing is there were probably 3 WR's saying screw you after shilling out 1/2 next years draft and paying Roy #11 franchise money. Team looking at JJ saying why is Brad Johnson our backup again? You banked on Pacman - why? I think this JJ screaming at team is dicy stuff. He is overreacting AGAIN. Thank god the trade deadline is past - LOL

A team that has laid down in December for a long time now. Something is not right here and Parcells/Phillips not all the problem. Starts at the top.

:hammer:

couldn't agree more.
the problem here is that he's untouchable since he owns the sucker.

Again, yes he took a risk on Adam Jones, but he also did the same thing with Tank Johnson and Terrell Owens.

He is 2-3, which isn't bad.

This team has had issues with mental lapses, toughness and believing their own hype for a while, how that is Jerry Jones' fault is odd.

This in bold is the problem, too many chances and not enough accountability week in and week out. You have to keep alot of these idiot players on a short short leash and stay on their butts and even CUT some of their worthless butts to make a point to the others, tell them to get your stuff together or go find a job!

I really wish all pro sports players were paid with incentive based contracts ONLY!!

no, i agree that the problem starts with Jerry. and hence my frustration since he aint going anywhere

Firing a coach that is 13-3 last year and has shown he can get it done sounds insane to me.

We didn't have our starting All Pro QB who also has this offense built around him. Our starting CBs were out. You guys shouldn't be surprised this happened esp with the way it started getting behind that quickly that far.
Has shown he can get it done? To me, insane is thinking that Phillips has really gotten it done at any point in his career as a HC.

Did you believe before today that Wade had 100% autonomy? He had complete control of every aspect of the team before today right?

Nope. Some of us saw Jerry was reverting to his old self back when he first hired Wade. Actually, when he hired Garrett before Wade. Some are now finally seeing it for themselves. Some, like you are still blind, or just refuse to publicly acknowledge it.

haha just because he put the word Jerry in there does not mean thats what his post was about. You have to know Nors, he doesnt like Roy Williams hence Jerry is bad and the team is laughing etc. We could have given up a 7th and he would make the same post

He also handled the Adam Jones deal brilliantly-we're netting 2 2nd day picks b/c he screwed up again. It's not like we gave up an unconditional 3rd rounder + a player for him.

and others like yourself blaming Jerry for players not making plays or coaches not coaching the team up are ridiculous. The man went and assembled what should be a great team. The coaches are failing him.
