to be honest i don't get much into the revs/changes and the like for a tablet. but i think i get what you're saying, not the OS doing the refresh but the updated browser.

i'll drop chrome and put someone else on and see what they do. appreciate the tip.

Tried chrome on here just now... Not having the issues you talked about... Only time it refreshes is if I already at the top of the page and pull down. If I am at the top and want to scroll down I have to swipe up.

You might try uninstalling chrome and then reinstall

ugh some of the settings and stuff are down another layer. Beyond that haven't noticed any real issues except most of my apps needed to be updated. and they are not small apps. Got cloud printing working sucks that I had to switch to chrome on my one computer to do it.

Yeah some are saying you may be able to run a Sprint or T-mobile root but I will not chance it. I just like to run root to reclaim some storage from the AT&T bloatware and to get rid of KNOX

Just looking in the security section... KNOX is turned OFF as a default setting and you have the option to turn it on.

So I did the update.
After doing the update I messed something up and decided I wanted to just do a factory reset.

I did the factory reset and it reset to 5.0.01 Lollipop.

I had my contracts and pics backed up so I imported those.

I went to google play and downloaded all of my apps (free and paid ones) although after signing into google play I had to restart before I could download my previously paid apps as it wanted me to pay for them again.

Since I have done that and messed with some settings I have to say I am happy with the performance.

No lag issues, No battery issues as others have stated. Now when I was doing everything (downloading apps and checking settings) the battery did drain but that is to be expected since I was on it for hours doing things. After everything was done the battery has been as good...I would say it might even seem better.

Now I will have to go through the pain of changing all the apps notifications settings as the come in...If I am getting notification sounds I only want it for Texts, Phone Calls, Alarms and that would be about it...other notifications sounds from other apps just irritate me.

So...wondering how others are doing with the update so far. I have read that some had problems with their heart sensor being activated if anything is blocking it (like paper or something).

No issues so far. Wi-Fi is hit or miss but it may be my wi-fi and not the phone. Having BT issues with my car but I had it with my GN2 also. Beyond that the update has been solid some of my games crash every now and again. Just hate some settings being buried down another layer.

Have not been prompted to update yet, did you do it manually?

I like it so far. Made a few tweeks here and there but it runs good.

I did have to take my battery saver app off as I got tired of it staying on as a notification on my lock screen and being over top of the owner information I put on my lock screen.

Other than that I have been happy with it.

Any negative experiences?

1. Email lags to fill screen.
2. Switching between email accounts lags too.
3. Camera lags then closes.
4. Battery seems to drain.

All of this wasn't the case before this update.

I am verizon.

Use Google inbox so my email accounts go into that one app so I don't have to switch. But I only have a couple accounts so it is not bad.

No problem with camera.

No battery drain but it has been reported by some.

However after I updated I did a factory reset.

Try this.

Settings
Data usage
Mobile data
Turn off enhanced 4G LTE Services.

Also some have said they had to turn off phone, take out their battery for a minute and put it back in before some changes happen.

I also keep my location, NFC and blue tooth off.

I use the native email app.
I was going to do factory reset, it's a habit I go into years ago. Was hoping to avoid it. Oh well.

Already pulled battery and sim. Same difference.

Turn off enhanced 4g LTE and leave off?

I left it off.... You can turn it back on if you want.
