Reading comprehension not your strength eh?

This thread is about how the announcers were adamant it was OPI when it wasn’t.

My apologies if you are just a kid.
I think he was referring to the people who are disagreeing with you.

The funny thing is that if the roles were reversed and CB Brown was "bear hugged" by a wr. Collinsworth would have said what a great play by the WR for making sure there was contact to draw the flag. Refs look at if the CB is playing the ball which he wasn't. Turn around and it's not called.
I'm watching the game replay right now, and I assure you, Collinsworth gives just as much love to Dallas players as he does to the Colts players.

If Noah keeps his arms out it’s defensive PI because the DB wasn’t watching the ball and would have run into him. I think the refs interpreted Noah’s hugging motion as an attempt to catch the ball.

I forget who it was to, but you’ll remember as Collinsworth and the other guy adamantly said it was clearly offensive PI.

The defender had his back to the ball and clearly ran through the receiver. It was text book defensive PI. I don’t care that the receiver got his arm on the defenders back as he came back for the ball.

It was a short lived rant, but it just pissed me off they were so clear that we got a huge advantage there.

Does anyone have the video I’m talking about?

Yah, I remember. The CB basically hugged and mugged our guy.

The NBC crew was very biased last night. They ranted about the non-offensive PI call yet just laughed off Matt Ryan getting away with intentional grounding.

And on Dak's pick it's clear Stephon Gilmore had illegal contact on Gallup, who was pushed down instead of being in position for the catch.

Run long and throw it short should be a play in the playbook. It's always DPI in those situations. The WR is actually slowing down to catch the short throw which makes the CB run into the WR everytime. It's a good way to flip the field, on a penalty.

Personally I don't think it should be DPI. If the WR has to go through the DB to catch the ball...it should be a no call. Can't keep rewarding the offenses for a bad throw.

In that case I apologize. But I don’t think so. He said people starting threads not commenting in them. I’ll look back.

I do find it hilarious he wrote a post accusing me of doing exactly what he was doing in that post itself. Pure gold.

If you're right, then I guess he misunderstood your post - which I guess is why you replied as you did. lol

We have some odd fans.
This and the Dalton non fumble thread.

You would think some of these fans were Colts fans…or just don’t like their own Dallas team more like it.

IF we did get away with a few calls…which we DID NOT….it would be about freaking time.
Are you under the impression the OP was saying that should've been OPI, or are you referring to others posting in the thread?

There's a whole Tyler Smith worship thread on here based on the Collinsworth love from last night.

I could only find the thread about people "owing Smith an apology". The OP said nothing about Collinsworth, but I mentioned that he'd said what a good mentor Peters has been to him. Not sure if that's the thread you mean.
