The defender had his arm behind him, but not on him until Brown pulled him.
brown didn't pull him, he had his arm around, but defender had his arm around his back and his shoulder pushing Brown's shoulder....past 5 yards there is to be no contact by the defender. this is exactly the call that Brown recieved a DPI last year in overtime against Raiders.

AFTER the defender runs through him lol

This isn't hard. Just watch how the WR is going for the ball and the defender isn't.

He didn't run THROUGH him.

This is normal for db play to run up TO the wr, yes, with contact. And, THEN they turn to play the ball.

Brown grabbed him and pulled before the THEN part of that equation.

The defender DOES turn, on the way to the ground though

Brown was not falling until after he grabbed the db.
brown was falling before and defender was in his body, so how else is he to catch the ball, from the other angle you can see his right hand come around to try and grab the ball. this was clearly a DPI. the colts didn't challenge the call.

no, its not normal to have contact, if your back is to the ball and you are not looking around to fight for the ball. if you back is to the ball and you initiate contact, that's a DPI. ticky tacky as it maybe.

There can be contact.

The "NO contact" thing is not the rule.

In fact, Brown wraps his arm around the defender's back before his shoulder get's to Brown's.

Which player was going for the ball and which was running thru the player?

This is a clear PI. He pulled on him because he was being pushed and was trying to get to the ball...

100% inaccurate.
I'm watching the game and that play right now, and from the front angle, you can definitely see the DB's right shoulder push against Brown's left shoulder, turning him slightly to his left and keeping him from making a play on the ball, before Brown's arm goes around the DB's back.

I'm no expert, but at field level to me it looked like DPI from a refs perspective. When you play it back, he did great on drawing the flag. Kinda like a flop. IMO, they owed us a few.
The reason it was pass interference and the one on the Gallup interception wasn’t is Bc im factoring in the totality of the athleticism on display,

so on the Gallup one Gallup just kind of got bodied and it is what it is. On this play we’re talking about the defender just was all over him and wasn’t looking for the ball and it wasn’t an overall impressive athletic play. It was sloppy from the start.

If I was the defender I would feel like I deserve a flag

Neither was running through the player. Look again, he wrapped his arm around the defender before the defender's shoulder got into (not through) him.

I'm watching it now, and that's false.

I watch the replay pretty much every time I post, for the sake of accuracy.

It reminded me a lot of the DPI we got called on us vs. the Raiders last thanksgiving.

I didn't think it was DPI last night and I didn't think it was DPI last year.

I think you're right in both instances.

See if you can find the end zone view of the play.

This is the other angle shown.
