Longest NFC Championship Game Drought *MEGA Merge*

Well that's true I guess.

Jerry's Way has led to nothing but failure and Mockery for 30. years

What can Stupid Stephen due for the next 30 that would be any worse than winning nothing?

I guess the one hope is, Stephen's IQ is juuuust high enough where he can realize he's just not that bright, and as a result hire people to run the team for him.
My hope is a bit different for him, it's that he doesn't have the same level of attachment that Jerry has - i think this is part of the issue with Jerry, is attached and he literally sunk every dollar in that he had to aquire so he had a very micromanaging view.

What I'm hoping with Stephen is he sees it as his company / organization but doesn't feel the same way Jerry did...hopefully runs it like a business and surrounds himself with smart people that make him look good and find success

Who knows buddy, I guess I have to hope for something

If Snyder still owned Washington they would've had the same success this year.

Daniels changed them overnight, not Magic Johnson and friends.
Stop.

It wasn't just Daniels. It was new ownership that gutted the front office and coaching staff and replaced them with competent people. Daniels helped immensely but there's no guarantee Synder even has them taking Daniels.

I get you are Blame Dak for Everything and if we change our QB its all roses and sunshine but that outlook is making you look foolish.

Last NFC Championship Game appearance

I love how the gap between us and the next team on the list is 15 years.

Take it all in Jerry. You failure.

Oh Boy..

You can downplay the importance of QB position all you want, but you're proven wrong every single year.

JJ is so committed to himself that he would rather lose doing it his way, than win doing it someone else’s.

Most organizations fail because people are assigned to the wrong role.

The simple truth is JJ is a great sales and marketing guy. Not a GM. But he refuses to accept that reality, so the franchise is held hostage by his fantasy
Well he is about to a be bad marketing guy pretty quickly, because he is selling a crappy product.

His arrogance is going to end up giving him the title of one of the worst front office personnel men in NFL history. No FO guy would have lasted nearly 30 years with no results.

What a turd.

They should erase any comments about him as President and GM in regards to him in the Hall of Fame. It should just mention him as an Owner.

I think you will be right on this one. I have no reason to believe it but that's where I'm with it. His personality and charisma is nothing like Jerry. He won't get away with what Jerry does. Which is why I could see that once Jerry is gone, this franchise won't just fully fall to just him. But the entire family including the wife.

The Cowboys are the most profitable sports brand in the world. JJ has played a gimongous role in growing the NFL brand period.

The issue is there a huge difference between marketing and selling a product, and evaluating talent and building a competitive roster.

with detroit making it last year.
and washington ending their long drought this year...then that can only mean we end ours next year.

I wonder who had the most jersey sales this year?

I wonder if there is any discussion between Jerry and Stephen about the future of who will be running the team once Jerry is gone or retired. The results on the field and fan frustration must be alarming to the family and i wonder when jerry is gone whether Stephen will just hire a professional GM and avoid a family feud like the one the Pat Bowlen family had in Denver when he passed.
I can see a scenario when jerry is gone where a family dispute erupts if Stephen assumes the GM position and the results are the same as with jerry.
I get a sense Stephen may not want to go into a family dispute or endure the current ridicule and scrutiny his father is going through. I hope he is smart enough to hand it over to a professional non family GM.

I’m with you. That’s pretty much where I’m at with it.

The only hope I cling to is that I don’t believe the kid will seek to get media members removed when they get on him. Maybe he hires a GM in title to take the pressure off.

However I do realize that he still holds the checkbook, and the cheapness is all him, not Jerry….so if he does hire a GM that person would probably be overruled when it comes to signing anyone of significance….as the drought pushes 40, maybe even 50 years.

That’s what hope has been reduced to.
