Washington just showed us with the right decisions with the head coach/coaching staff, actually make some free agent moves, and a good draft the Cowboys could be playoff contenders next season. That is all you really need. Some playoff luck could help as well. We played San Francisco and a up and coming Packers team the last three times. Luck means more then one thinks.

Do these other NFC teams make as much money? No they do not. As long as Jerry keeps the team 500 or above he rakes in the money and gets to meddle as much as he wants. He's found the sweet spot and fans will still arrive at games early to get his autograph.

It's such an outlier that I'm convinced any person could build a team that would at least get to one CCG just by throwing darts blindfolded at a draft board, and doing the same with free agents.
