I’m glad you realize it was our defense that was the issue
It was the biggest issue!! Anyone without Rose Colored glasses could see it.
Jacksonville gained 500 yards of Offense with almost 200 yards rushing!!!
They scored 34 points before OT!!

In the 2nd half our Offense was at least kicking FG’s with a big lead, but our D was giving up back to back to back TD’s!!

Dak gets beat over the head for leading his team to 34 points, while this “showtime” defense gets run all over every game, is now giving up a bunch of points, AND there are still a bunch of excuses being made for this mediocre D!!!!

The Cowboys lost to a team whose record is lower than any other team remaining on the Cowboys schedule.

There is nothing consilatory about that, especially considering the team is in worse shape today than it was last Sunday.

The level of play for teams does not remain static. We're not playing at as high a level as we were, especially on defense. But Jacksonville also isn't playing like the team that lost 6 of its first 8 games. The Jaguars' record today doesn't reflect how they are playing. Unfortunately, neither does ours.

That includes converting first downs. I just can't believe this team has no good answer on a much needed first down and why they throw to Noah Brown in crucial situations. You supposed to rely on your top players. This team does the exact same things week to week and they rarely change things up just like when Garrett was here. Moore needs to go!
Your talking about games where the Defense gave up huge leads. If you didn’t have your “Dak hating Rose Colored glasses on” you would AT least acknowledge the OBVIOUS. This mediocre defense is AT least as much to blame for the losses to GB and Jacksonville. I would say more to blame, but I’m not wearing hate Dak glasses.

Also, let’s blame Moore, but not Quinn and his super soft Defense?

The Jags loss isn't a "bad loss" because of the team... the only people who would think it was/is don't want football. The Jags, similarly to the Lions when we played them... were/are ascending and playing very well.

The Jags loss is a "bad loss" because we had the game won. We should have won that game 4 times over but snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

After the Jags whooped arse on the Jets tonight, they and the Titans both have 7 wins, however the Titans are screwed because reports are out that Tanny is done for the season after his ankle did a 360 against the Chargers, OUCH!

Got to give Tanny credit, he got balls, his whole foot was taped up from his toes to his freaking knee and he went back in the game. Dude was playing on what was most likely a fractured ankle, they must have shot him up with the good stuff for him to go back in the game.

So, it looks like the Jags are going to cruise to the division title now, so our loss doesnt look that bad in hindsight, right:thumbup:
Personality I’m not with that I sort of hear your justification and that’s fine but I can’t get over the poor calls and playz

But I thought your record says what you are( Bill Parcells)? I always thought that statement was Bullshi_! Teams get hit at the end of the year and beat teams with better records all the time.

Maybe we will get healthy and hot over the next few games.
I actually trust this Offense more than I trust the Defense. The offense plays physical up front, the defense plays SOFT up front! Suh or Joseph would have been huge difference makers, but we would rather be known for rushing the passer.

Do you know when Philly became the #1 sacking team? After they picked up Suh and Joseph!

It's still bad. I don't care who we were playing, we were up 27-10. If we were up 27-10 against the best team that ever was and ever will be, I'd still expect to win. Let alone blow it to an under .500 team.

Show me one time in the last 27 years where the Cowboys got hot in the playoffs.
That is true but it takes luck to win as well. Romo dropped snap on field goal, Dez catch, 4th and 20 Rodgers, ect. Hopefully this playoff we get a break.

Really, the Cowboys won 4 of their last 5 games last season and since Dak returned they are 6-2 and locked up a playoff spot in the toughest division in football. I guess that is fizzle huh?

You think we went into the playoffs on a roll last year? The wins we were getting sure didn't create any momentum.

Parcells used that to downplay success because he didn't want his teams to eat the cheese.

Does momentum really matter? Tennessee and Green Bay were red hot and both got booted after a bye. The Rams got embarrassed at home by San Francisco and they won the Super Bowl. It’s about matchups. This Philadelphia game is meaningless.
