However, after watching this team tonight, the only game I can point to as a 'comfortable' win is the Rams.

Things can go sour for us pretty quickly if we don't take advantage of this easy schedule.

They can win 3 of those games. they could also loose all of them.
I say win two, loose three... hopefully they beat the curve and win three.... a lot of divisional match ups after that stretch......

For most of us, I don't think its the losing that is killing us. I think its the losing without a plan and without hope.
We aren't losing with a kid QB. We aren't losing with a new football guy running the team that just hired a brand new head coach and they've decided to really gut the team and have a 2-14 season and then a 4-12 season etc.
This is an organization that puts a band-aid on things in hopes of staying relevant, which leads to .500 seasons and the same old thing every year.

They both have their faults, but a lot of potential as well...good coaching can correct faults... (Winston's passes sail way too much)
look at Kaeprineck, and Tannehill. I'm impressed with how much they've improved since college, and I think Winston, and Mariota is ahead of those guys at this stage. Even Logan Thomas improved a lot from what i've seen in the preseason.... he was not that good in college imo...
I do like Hundley... and Petty and Cook have potential.

side note: Ej Manuel didn't look that bad today... but he plays way too cautious.

I can see two wins that will put us at 2/3 then if the team is back and healthy we can start putting together some {"W's}

Problem is that we would be sitting at 2-4 on the season and if you look at the stats, less than 10% of teams that start 2-4 make the playoffs.

Maybe Jerry knew something when he said the team had "long odds" this year.

well i never was banking on this season. I thought/think it's unrealistic to think this team has the personal
to get into the play offs . Next year is the year and I'v been saying that for a while, I might get surprised
