Tennessee
St. Louis
Houston
New Orleans
Seattle
St. Louis is the only win I see right now, seriously. We could be looking at a 1-5 start out of the gate.
For most of us, I don't think its the losing that is killing us. I think its the losing without a plan and without hope.
We aren't losing with a kid QB. We aren't losing with a new football guy running the team that just hired a brand new head coach and they've decided to really gut the team and have a 2-14 season and then a 4-12 season etc.
This is an organization that puts a band-aid on things in hopes of staying relevant, which leads to .500 seasons and the same old thing every year.
This. I'm ultimately hoping for a humiliating season(s) to eventually force changes at the top of the organization. It's the only way and Save your breath because I know that it's going to take a giant forklift to haul jj out of his gm/ownership role but under severe scrutiny/pressure anything can happen. There's no more excuses for JJ's failing "socks to jocks" workmanship with this team's results. They just suck.
Fans ultimately like to be associated with winners and I hope that yesterday's lack of CB fan participation in the stadium is a small sign of big change down the road. I know jj still makes $$ there but there's one aspect that is bigger than $$ to jj and that's his ego.
Yes you or I can "hope" that everything falls in place for this present team and they go on to win multiple SB's but I feel our chances of getting there are much more likely without our present ownership/gm even if it takes a couple of humiliating years to get through it. I'm old so I don't have another 25 more years to wait it out.
I just hope that major change is coming soon and I know 8-8 will not enable enough change to right the ship. We need to be humiliated to force significant change for the better. Comparing our coaches, players and FO with those more consistently successful teams. It's night and day fellas.
Just sayin.
