Anthony Brown
5'11 192 4.33 40, 31.75 Length

Kelvin Joseph
6/1 192 4.33 40, 31.78 Length

Profiles are almost identical-this is the profile for our #2 corner. Elite speed with 32 inch arms.

Diggs
6'2 195 Unknown 40, 32.75 Length

Nashon Wright
6'4 183 4.49 40, 33.00 Length

The so called big Cornerback, with crazy length.

Daron Bland
6'0 197 4.46 40, 35 Length-no not a misprint
Jourdin Lewis
5'10 195 , 4.55 40, 31.75 Length

This shows why Bland would be best in the slot, with that crazy length in the middle of the field.

He had a great Senior Bowl week and is a rising prospect.

Rush is intriguing. You’re projecting with him since he’s a former QB and still developing. Love the tools but wonder why he doesn’t flash on film more.

Witherspoon is so dang feisty. I was hopeful he’d stuck in that late 1st/early 2nd range but they discovered him. He’s going top 15. He’s Jaire Alexander.
Yeah, he isn't going to reach our pick, nor will Gonzales/Porter Jr, which has me looking at more the 2nd tier and beyond.

Thinking with his strong Senior Bowl week, probably has earned him a day 2 selection. Yes, he is more of a developmental corner at this stage. Since the Cowboys were strongly considering drafting Horn, I bet they have good contacts inside that building. Cam Smith should also be on the team's radar.

CAM SMITH CB SOUTH CAROLINA | NFL DRAFT PROFILE & SCOUTING REPORT

DRAFT YEAR: 2023
40 TIME: 4.45 SECONDS (68%*)
OVERALL RANK: #22 POSITION RANK: #6 (DB)
HEIGHT: 6-0 (64%*)
WEIGHT: 188 (30%*)
HANDS: 9 1/8 (47%*)
ARM: 31 6/8 (63%*)
The other South Carolina Corner who is projected more as a 1st rd pick. Checks many of the boxes, outside of having elite speed. He does have versatility to play both inside/outside.

  • Managed to run with fastest wideouts in the nation - limited Tennessee's Jalin Hyatt to just 65 yds on the day

This team failed with Joseph and Wright. Got too cute for their own good. Thought they knew more than the consensus in the scouting community. But they also hit big with Diggs and Bland and they were going to take Surtain or Horn if they were available.

TYRIQUE STEVENSON CB MIAMI | NFL DRAFT PROFILE & SCOUTING REPORT

He checks all the boxes and is a good day 2 target if the Cowboys do draft another position in rd 1.

Insane how deep this draft is at CB. He’s a kid who’s best football is ahead of him. He’s going to make some money after the Combine. He could easily be in the next group of CB’s after what I view as the top 3: Spoon, Gonzalez, and Porter.

I think 6’+ and 32 inch ish arms is the target.

The number of those guys that are top 50 talents is insane. We need to cash in this draft IMO.

Is he really a 4.38 guy?

He looks great vs some type of routes but awkward and slow on others.

Just asking if he looks that fast to you.

He might be that fast but just didn't always look like it to me.

Might just be a long strider.

I think elite length is the most important trait they covet
Yes, if they have a choice between 2 similar players, they'll likely take the one with better length.

However, arm lengths:
Bland 32"
Joseph 31-7/8"

I think there are 2 type of CBs that they like.
The Diggs type. Play maker. Big, physical in coverage. good length, plays with great awareness.

The Brown type but with better vertical or longer arms. Very fast. Can hold up without deep help. Good vs run. Ok if not a play maker.

No, his estimated speed surprised me. With his traits, you would think he would be more impactful. We have to understand, he is new to the position, think he was a former redshirt WR and needs more development. Probably a 3rd rd prospect with upside, that is a good fit of what Quinn seeks.

Diggs clearly is better suited to match-up with the so called "big" receiver, but they need one to cover those receivers who can beat you over the top, that possess elite, track speed. Since Diggs struggles against the run, we need our other corner to be good in that area. Elite speed with physicality.
