As per ESPN's Mike and Mike in the Morning, Mike Shannahan is now interviewing with the Washington Commanders.

This has to make Jerry Jones very nervous if he had Shannahan on his radar if/when Wade Phillips is fired. :bang2:

it is what it is...as others have mentioned, Shanahan was pretty mediocre once Elway retired...I dont see anyone like Elway in Washington

I dunno, that Colt Brennan kid out of Hawaii scares me. Also, I have heard reports of a heavy scouting of ND's Claussen.

Last I heard Danny had a crew, if not him and someone with him, at the last Texas game so there was speculation they liked Colt.

Who knows at this point.

It just seems he knows they needed a change and he is attempting to make a change...whether that will pay off or not remains to be seen.

I fail to see the humor here. Unproven is unproven, but that Brennan kid on the roster lit up college and broke all kinds of NCAA records. June Jones said he was the best quarterback he has ever seen.

Will be interesting to see what that kiddo has if he ever gets a start.

I thought so too. But that means Gruden and Cowher are both still out there (I'm assuming the Holmgren to Cleveland thing is done). I would prefer either Gruden or Cowher more than Shanny.
