Facts are stubborn things. Maybe Jerry should get a copy of this for the Yachts bulletin board.

Pointed out Zeke's decline for years and why I would have never resigned him to his long term deal, franchised him one year after his rookie deal ran out and moved on...

Zeke would have been retired already but for Jerry resigning him....which made ZERO sense!

I don't undertsand why Zeke wasn't cut after the game suspension due to his team conduct...

But we're all living in Jerry's clown show!
He signed him for dak

Zeke has a poor work ethic is why. He does just enough to get by especially in the off-season, while guys like Derrick Henry actually WORK Hard to stay on top of his craft.

I would love to know what Coach Jones saw in Zeke that made him think he could still be a featured RB in the NFL to the extent he made him pass on Henry.
I am in no way, shape or form a football guy, but even I know a slow, broken down, past-his-prime RB when I see one and thus would never sign Zeke for anything other than blitz pick-up or short yardage and red zone situations.

Thoroughly unenjoyable to hear this all year:

"Wow, when it comes to the Cowboys, their "Insert Stat" has never been this low in franchise history."

yeah right, there are several thousands of fans including jerry believing that he has a lot left in 2024
No there isn't.

Even me and ronnie weren't saying any such thing. Only that he could contribute SOMETHING.

Maybe on a competent team...MAYBE...but not here.

With Dak out for this year, Jerry would have a great excuse for letting him go!
Whether he would or not remains to be seen but could his Zeke love allow it?

He was basically done after 2018.
Jerry never should have given him another contract, particularly after the holdout.

Just let him play as many games as he wanted to, and claw back signing bonus for the games he sat out.

After the season, trade him to some team who would agree to extend him. Win-win.

Jerry just lets himself get punked all the time.
