Should not have drafted him!
RB at 4 and a LB in a wheelchair who might never play a down of football at 34. That's just smart drafting. lol I'm sure in this case it was Jerry and not the brilliant McClay!

Huge mistake bringing him back. No justification for him being here next year.

Is there actual talk of him being here next year? We thought him being gone asap was a given. I guess you never know with Jerry.

Pointed out Zeke's decline for years and why I would have never resigned him to his long term deal, franchised him one year after his rookie deal ran out and moved on...

Zeke would have been retired already but for Jerry resigning him....which made ZERO sense!

I don't undertsand why Zeke wasn't cut after the game suspension due to his team conduct...

But we're all living in Jerry's clown show!

Zeke literally had one good year behind the best offensive line in football and some of you guys thought he was the second coming of Emmitt.
Zeke is absolutely washed but he’s third all time in Cowboys rushing yards and touchdowns so to downplay his prime is a little disingenuous. Don’t people always brag about the Great Wall of Dallas that Emmitt ran behind?

Even worse stat is a team stat this season.

Has any RB had a 100 yard game this season for this team?
Haters paradise stat.

He may retire after this season.
Fans minimize player stats when they are good, saying only wins and losses matter. Then they jump on bad individual stats......instant gratification.

No justification for him being here this year. There are 12 QBs with more yds than Zeke and 3 more that will probably surpass him in the next couple of games. both Saquon and King henry avg more per game than Zeke has in total yds. not to mention that you can combine their longest rush from scrimmage (2 total plays) and it would nearly total Zeke's total rushing yards for the year.

You’re comparing Zeke to Emmitt. Talking about dangerous. Damarco’s 2014 season was better than 2016 Zeke.

using that logic, Emmitt had a career behind the best OL in football,,

putting down Zeke for some agenda is silly, he was a top RB for four years despite Robespierre Goodell going after him incessantly

I'm not sure I agree with this. Zeke had a higher YPC 5.1 to 4.7 and scored more TDs 15 to 13. Zeke also watched the season finale in street clothes to get him fresh for the playoffs. Zeke's team also won one more game despite having a rookie QB and Zeke was a huge reason why. Both were tremendous seasons though and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them both! It would be tough to go wrong with either!

Forget about if they are cooked to begin with, but you just don’t bring a player that was once a star for a reduced role in the same organization. Could have been ok elsewhere.

Just a stupid move, and no hindsight there. Yeah I get the short yardage/goal line crap, but what was the risk vs reward factor? I KNEW he would moan directly to Jerry once he wasn’t getting his touches.

Another player could have filled that role…..but it’s just more evidence of the Jones lack of knowledge of the league and personal relationships with players getting in the way.

82 year old normal men don’t change, let alone ones that are billionaire narcissists. Need to wait him out. Took me forever to get here.
