For those who still believe Zeke could be back in Dallas next season this news doesn’t bode well for his return. Had it not been for the bye this would be game number three he would miss due to injury assuming he doesn’t play. With the mileage he has and the games he’s missing due to injury, makes it even less likely the Cowboys will bring him back.

Why do you keep bringing up the money, you are stuck in the mud on the contract.
It serves absolutely zero purpose at this point right now.
Pollard is a very dynamic RB, but he would be out of service by post season if he was the sole featured back.
There is no team in the entire league that does that,

Sounds about right. We do need him but nothing wrong with not playing if you can’t.

He should have sat last year at times when he insisted on playing.

Just hope the injury isn’t worse than we know. Can’t stand the dude and his act but again, we need him to help carry the load if this team is going anywhere this year.

We are finally in agreement. YOU...are mis-using zeke and wasting him. You think reduced carries are a function of his reduced abilities. And it's quite the opposite.

Zeke...like Emmitt...gets about 3 yards a carry for the first 10. The second 10 are 8-10+ .

And no...the nfl hasn't changed THAT much. You can still have a power run game and do well. Establish the runs to create the passing game is still a tried and true formula.

But if you decide to not do that, get any "monkey" as you said?...release Zeke...let him go to a team and fans that care. Save him AND us from this relentless asinine assault.

that was after that 50 or 60 yard run, his third TDand he was saying as he was running he had nothing left and thought he was gonna get caught..... but he didnt say he was done for the day if they had needed him. Running LONG runs has a tendency to make one a little tired.

When he got the contract he was the NFL leading rusher and maker of an NFL quarterback. That was EARNED money!

Jerry gave him the contract and then someone decided Prescott needs to throw 45 times a game.

It's very simple I don't see why you Zeke haters can't figure it out. You would have HATED Emmitt too at 10-12 carries per game. It's the way zeke has ALWAYS worked....from the 2014 NCCA National Champship 1st playoff....until about 2019...or whatever year was after the contract.

Haters are SO stupidly blinded they can't fathom the chain of events. They just look at easy stats and make their blind convictions.

I really wish we'd just let him walk and end this stupidity. The problem is...for people like this...there will ALWAYS be their easy scapegoat. It was Romo, it's Dak. It;s Zeke. ALWAYS someone to throw your beers at.
