I'd say stong, and since he was coming off rehab i'd have to say this year he will be better.

SuperCows5Xs;1406213 said:Why wouldn't he try to get that? Davis got that much and you think his body of underacheveing work deserves that much, Colombo had a better year last year than Davis, and that's usually what matters most, what has a player done lately.
TheProphet;1406301 said:Better re-read the responses before you weigh in big guy. A couple of naive folks think Colombo well settle for peanuts, many more of us think otherwise. Time will tell who is right. Let's hope those who end up being wrong will take their medicine. LOL.

TheProphet;1406310 said:Exactly my point. Some around here seem a bit naive about this situation.
TheProphet;1406332 said:Oh really? Now you are going to start name calling? Did you even post your opinion, or were you too busy thinking of something insulting to say??
Signing Davis only to lose Colombo would be the lunatic move. To think otherwise is absurd and naive.
It sure is hard to see the forests through all those trees, is it not? LOL.![]()
wayne_motley;1406355 said:Whether he is better than Colombo or not, or even whether he is projected to play there is besides the point. These guys are paid to make these decisions...it's one thing to play Monday-Morning QB, but it's ridiculous to think you know better than Jerry Jones or Wade Phillips, or anyone who actually makes his living in the NFL.

To think he will be ready is wishful thinking. They said this guy only had (what?) three years of playing experience. I think it will take a bit more time for him to become a viable option. Though I could be wrong, but like I said. Noone outside the organization actually knows. To have the physical abilities is one thing, to actually know how to use them is a different thing all together.
