Losing faith in this defense fast

I'm no football guru. But understand the basics.

Gathering from what I've seen. This defense won't go 2 rounds with better teams.

Either they do well,.1st half or 2nd. Not both. Doesn't bode well going further.

Yah, but it was kinda obvious. Once we got up 14-0 you could tell they just took their foot off the gas.

It doesn't bode well. Injuries mounting and the pass rush isn't getting home any more seem to be the issues. Micah is worn out.

Look, this is no revelation. The Cowboys #1 issue with the D last year was the run D. They did little to fix it.

You should be concerned. The cowboys have a bunch of key players hurt right now. Brown and Lewis. Micah is banged up. Hankins is hurt. Dorance armstrong is hurt. Demarcus Lawrence is playing with a broken foot. LVE is hurt.


It’s not good. Sooner or later that many starters being out is going to affect the defense. It just is.

I think you should rename your post to The losing faith in the Front Office......the Jones have been out maneuvered by their division rival (Eagles) all while to maintain the status quo on a dollar store budget.....

Dan Quinn has the ultimate weapon in Micah and he leaves him out there on the same side all game. I get matchups but try something different.

Micah first sack came against the guard. It worked.

I know we want sacks and all but Micah should be playing some linebacker. It will also help his body. He can blitz from those spots anyway.

Especially against the eagles he should be in the middle.

Sums it up. The teams that make it to the end generally have good luck on the injury front. That's not what is happening with this team.

this is a low tier defense.....miserably bad run defense...linebackers almost non-existent, defensive backs are sub-par and can't defend a pass being thrown. On top of all of this, the vaunted and bragged about pass rush does not exist anymore....you don't win in the NFL, especially in the playoffs, with a poor defense like this. Lack of talent, coupled with injuries and poor schemes don't bode well for this team doing much else this season, except to continue to spiral down. This team hasn't made the playoffs yet and caution should be used when talking about them even making the first round. I have big doubts, given how they are playing.
