Losing faith in this defense fast

and who's fault is that.....DQ has Jerry's ear..if he wanted it fixed it would be fixed......there has been no help at DT for several years now...DQ didnt come in and say hey we got to fix the DT position....he came in fixing the pass rush...(the money maker)....I just done blame DQ, its the front office (Jones as well and Will McLay as well) they all neglected the DT position..

DQ is not the mad genius the media makes him out to be...without MP...this guy would be fired by now

That is the biggest indictment of this coaching staff. Kelvin Joseph has done absolutely nothing to warrant playing time. Even on special teams he is heavily penalized. How can they not see what the ordinary couch based fan can see?

I thought he was going to have a big game after that first sack, especially once the starting tackles went down. He does talk a lot, but it doesn't really bother me.

Dak sucked today but this defense was pure trash.

There was a time where the Jags could've run just about any play and got 20 yds.

The Eagles will kill us if we meet in the playoffs. This defense can't stop the run, can't cover anymore, and has never been able to deal with misdirection

Since the rams play off loss a few years back this team was exposed in the middle. The front office vowed to change that and did nothing, last year the niners punched them in the mouth, running all over them. Ownership once again vowed to make changes, they did absolutely nothing in the off season to seriously address the need. These clowns in the front office are the problem. I remeber Jerry slobbering all over the Commanders DTs, well guess what numb nuts....they actually spent high picks to fix their trenches. This team is ran by imbeciles. I for one am happy that at least Jerry Jones will die without ever winning anything worth a damn or after the salary cap was implemented!

I'm no football guru. But understand the basics.

Gathering from what I've seen. This defense won't go 2 rounds with better teams.

Either they do well,.1st half or 2nd. Not both. Doesn't bode well going further.

Yah, but it was kinda obvious. Once we got up 14-0 you could tell they just took their foot off the gas.

..that was on DQ, correct? Began playing soft. And continued playing soft, while D lineman got no pressure.

Other than that, we're good. Seriously though, it seemed like once they got a substantial lead, they just took their foot off the gas. You can't do that in the NFL. Always seems to be a problem with the Cowboys.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys look like what we thought they were going to be entering the season. It was a big surprise how well they played the first half of the season but the clock has struck 12 and they’ve turned into a pumpkin.

I don't understand it either. It seems as soon as Dak came back and the offense took off, the defense has gone the opposite direction, and keeps getting worse. Now the pass rush, at one time tops in the league, has vanished. It wasn't long ago you were lucky to get 14-15-16 points a game against this defense. Anytime it was 3rd down and they had to pass, the other teams QB barely had time to drop back and he was being sacked by many different players from many different sides. What the hell happened? Quinn got schooled today by Pederson, totally out-coached.

Losing Lewis and Brown was a huge hit for the coverage unit which has been exploited of late.

Brown gets a lot of heat but he's solid. Not a star but there's a clear drop-off from Joseph. It's affecting the defense significantly
