Jones always builds teams around stars with very little talent in reserve. Sells tickets and makes money, but injuries are inevitable and we end up losing games whereas other teams are able to stay competitive.

Exactly, very well said. How did we go from the defense winning games on their own in the beginning and carrying this team thru Daks injured games to this defense we have now? You'd think there are different people wearing these jerseys and on the field now. It looks nothing like the defense for the first half of the season. We saw what could be when the offense and defense both show up- Minnesota game. Why can't we get that back? Why do we either have the offense carrying this team, or the defense?
Agree, but the lack of pass rush has really exposed that unit. The Cowboys D is fading fast. They have given up leads to two sub 500 teams in the 2nd half of games they lost.
injuries are taking their toll. losing Lewis, Brown, Hankins, Armstrong, LVE....none of them are great, but that's a lot of depth playing critical role and it will impact you. there is a reason these guys started over the backups..Brown wasn't great, but the way Joseph is targetted and gives up big plays is quite concerning. Also Parson is dinged up because they over used him at DE. he has defintley slowed down and showed signs of wear already.we got 1 sack in two games...against two of the worst OLs in the league.
