Losses really bring out the ignorance in fans

They threw a flag and started the clock and stopped it because the fans were screaming lol. Anyways good to know yet again you take the side of the referees

You didn't answer my question. It's because you don't know, do you? And have never even seen such a rule. Neither has anyone else whining.

My niece, who's equally as elderly as I am, threw an early Thanksgiving Day party Sunday, during the game. Entering the living room, where myself and a few other interested fellas were sitting, she asked me if I was really in pain, by the way I was grimacing, while watching the game. o_O

I said "Well, if I started crying, you'd think of me as a big baby and stop seeing me as a man." Anyway, it was good for a laugh. ;)
That, or give you a stronger drink!

I think losses really bring out the ignorance in thread starting posters. If you think this was just one bad game, there might be more than one Turkey at your house on Thanksgiving. Many of the same problems happened just two games ago against Denver: Oline woes, Dak played poorly, team was low energy and not ready to play, and in KC we also had coaching fails in offensive game plan and bad clock management (again). This was not just one bad game. These problems are real and ongoing. And they kill you against quality competition. Gobble, gobble.

I know they say the more you love something the harder it is to see it clearly. This is 10000% true for a lot of the posters on this board.

The second the cowboys lose a game it’s: “Packers, bills, Rams etc etc contending team would never lose like this blah blah” (even when those said teams lose that same day too lol)

“elite qbs would never play like this blah blah” (even tho every elite qb has had multiple stinkers this year lol)

it’s like peoples brains and football analysis abilities revert to the level of a 5 year old when their team loses cuz of course we know every team has to go undefeated to win the Super Bowl. Yep every SB winner including the Bucs last year all had 16-0 records go look it up.

Anyway it’s one bad game where our backup wrs couldn’t get open on the chiefs corners (because ceedee and Amari both were gone). Hey crap happens, it’s 1 loss that’s not the end of the world and I’m onto Raiders on turkey day. Go cowboys!!!:star:

I really wish we had a vetting system that monitored ppls posts. When 90% of everything you post is negative and saying our players suck and we will lose every game, it’s clear you’re a troll and the system should ban those accounts.
I wish we had a system that monitored people’s posts that ignore reality and have their opinions formed by their emotions. Facts don’t care about your feelings and feelings has no place in football.

I’ve seen forums where people earn reputation points. Perhaps that can be done here?

The problem is, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Homers here play the denial game with a bit of blame shifting for good measure, and the haters use this as an excuse to pounce. The truth is: We've seen all of this before. It's not the Talent that's a problem in Dallas: it's the culture here. This was a game to prove who is elite, and who is clutch, and I'm sorry at this point we would be 1 and done in the playoffs. People were saying that big Mike might not be the best at time management but that he helped turn the culture around here in Dallas. Right now I'm not to sure. Again, the problem in Dallas is not the Talent.

A season is not a sprint, but rather a marathon. Fix the issues now, improve each week in hopes of playing your best football late.

They "vent" after wins too so I can see through it. Then there are those posters who LITERALLY NEVER have anything good to say about the team. It isn't a coincidence. It's a free country, but I'm not fooled by their freedom of speech.

yeah I don’t understand these posters. They just seem like they honestly hate the team no matter what.

Before the KC game, the Cowboys were riding the 3 seed for the playoffs. After the conclusion of Sunday, the Cowboys were still riding the 3 seed for the NFC playoffs. So what is everyone panicked about? I don't advise losing much more but this one game has minimally affected us to reach our goals. Relax, folks.

You nailed it

So you are of the belief that people should not be able to express their opinions unless you agree with them? Must be nice to be anti-1A and the thought police.
I agree with you 100%. But that’s not you is it. It’s OK to critique but that’s not what you do

Mike perraira said once a call is made they can’t just add another penalty. I think his experience trumps yours.

Really? You have never seen a ref come back and correct themselves in a game, even to call a different penalty than initially called? I have. How about this? Once a call is made, can they then say oops that wasn't actually a call? They did in our playoff game with Detroit in 2014. Remember?

And Mike Pereira said the Dez play was not a catch, both on the broadcast during that game and afterwards. Does his experience trump all the whiners on this board who claim we got robbed then? Lol.

Again, go back to the NYG game when Toney threw a punch at Kazee. There was no flag on Kazee throwing Toney to the turf. After they consulted, Kazee magically also had a penalty called on him. Where was the outrage then? We won, that's why.

Dude it’s unbearable, I stopped even responding to them in the game day threads. They react like these dudes are robots and can’t have bad games. Even Brady plays like crap a few times and season, as evidenced by the dolphins splitting with NE all the time during his run.

they aren’t real fans imho

HEY EVERYONE!

EVERYONE LOOK AT ME!

I'M A BETTER FAN THAN YOU!

I love the "Dak has a losing record versus winning teams" thread that pops up every season. 98% of QBs not named Tom Brady have losing records versus winning teams.

That's hardly a Dak thing, and includes Rodgers and Brees, but every year some genius runs with it like he's got a point. :muttley:

LOL half of fans dont even watch other teams. They proudly boast how they are a Cowboys fan not an NFL fan. So i really dont know where they get their opinions of other players from? I guess from highlight reels and whatever the ESPN analysts say :muttley:
