Kizer held onto the ball for way too long on both of them and the first one he walked right into Watt.

There's a reason why Watt wasn't so happy about his performance against Cleveland...he didn't play all that great. Missed a bunch of tackles, got taken badly out of plays at times. The interception was beautiful and he did make some plays against the run, but it wasn't a great game by any stretch. And now he's injured.

A lot of the Olinemen in the NFL are smart veterans that know every technique in the book to negate your athleticism so you have to learn as many techniques as possible before your athleticism starts to show.

Just give Taco some time before you judge is all im saying.

We wouldn't be so impatient to let rookies develop if Jerry understood the importance of free agency. Bring in players who can play while others develop and learn what they are supposed to be doing. We need veteran leadership more than most teams with the coaching staff we have.

I watch him a bit and I don't think he was bad by any stretch. But it's time to basically admit he's a longer term project and not anyone we should count on this season to fix our pass rush woes.

He needs to play. Mayowa shouldn't be on the team. Lawrence, Tapper and Taco should see the most action at DE. Crawford could go elsewhere too.

It was also an all time historical debut by a DE (2 sacks and an Int). Hardly a fair measuring stick.

For comparison DLaw has 4 sacks. And is the toast of the board. He's in year 4.

He's about 20 lbs too light..

and 50 lbs short on his strength.

Maybe by the time his contract is up..

Noah Spence, Frank Clark, Yannick Ngakoue, Danielle Hunter, Markus Golden, Preston Smith, Bruce Irvin, Lamarr Woodley, Elvis Dumervil, Jared Allen.

All were rookie impact pass rushers and most taken at the bottom of the first or later, much later.

But if you want a sure bet, pick up that stud pass rusher early in the first: Mack, Beasley, Von Miller, Demarcus Ware, Aaron Donald, Suh, Ansah, Avril, Clay Matthews, Orakpo, etc.
