Ware, Witten, Romo arguably (with a Super Bowl appearance definitely) smith, martin. All accomplished absolutely nothing here.
And Travis Frederick might have been as well if he hadn't gotten sick.

No amount of probowlers or even HOFers can overcome the organizational leprosy that is the Jones family.

Maybe we can keep on signing him and fans can beg for him to come back all the time and we can give him vet rest days all week

Time for what?

Who are you replacing him with starting now?
This. Martin may not be what he once was but it can still be so much worse. With a rookie C and two Ts that have both struggled you really need Martin in there.

We were loaded with 13 pro bowlers during Wade's first season and he didn't do anything. It's the culture. It's more toxic than sewage.

Wow you have said it every single year and were finally right in what is most likely his last year in the league.

Nostradamus over here.
Do you really think he went from All Pro to this in 8 months? The lengths people will go to rather than admit they were wrong never ceases to amaze me.

He despises Martin and has for years. So finally he is right after being wrong 100 times and he is patting himself on the back
Never wrong. Ya'll are just this slow to realize what should have been obvious if you were watching.

Youth & hunger. This team isn't going anywhere anyway but it's your path forward.

All pre-season I mentioned we should trade Zack and Parsons, cut Dak in march before his salary was guaranteed next year and pay CeeDe.

Jerry cannot process long term thinking and rebuilding. Heck he has been trying to rebuild Jimmy's winning teams for 30 years.
What did Jimmy do once he left and the salary cap was in effect?

Football talent aside, I lost all respect for Martin as a man of his word when he reneged on his negotiated contract, refused to work, and held his employer hostage for more money. A breach-of-contract stance which has since cascaded into a multi-player financial catastrophe. It's bad policy to negotiate with terrorists.

Curious, did you lose respect for Lamb and Elliott and some others who also held out?

Before he plays one game on his extension there will be a quarterback paid more than he is. Recall Hurts signed a “largest ever” deal. His deal started this season and he’s already ninth highest paid. I’m not saying any of it makes sense. But it is reality.
Thats irrelevant to me, keeping a qb that has failed when it counts doesn't help this team progress, treading water isn't the answer here

I disrespect any able-bodied man who doesn't honor his word. Martin didn't...and by example, encouraged others to do the same. One of several reasons there is no "team" in DAL...only a number of competing brands attempting to co-exist, playing football when they feel like it.

I dare you to go back and watch this game again.....focus on Martin....then get back to me. He was that bad. If it was anyone else....he would be cut. Or @ least benched. Guy has given up more sacks in 2 games this year...3 ....than he has entire career.

Wouldn't shock me if we end up taking his helmet from him to save him from disgrace.

True Zack not the same as past years ..but is he a weak link of the OL now ?

He's surely not dominant anymore, ..but is he still at least solid, ?
He's good. He's still better than Steele, Guyton, and Bebe. At least, right now. So, not the weak link.
Yeah, he's at the end of his career, but his demise is greatly exagerrated.

We have several issues, yet occasionally, I find myself watching Martin and pondering what exactly happened with him. He looks off.

Terrence Steele's performance has been awful. It seems to be another instance of the Jones' hasty self-congratulation on a "smart" signing, similar to Jaylon Smith and Ezekiel Elliott.

Martin is not what he was. But, this overreaction calling for Bass?
Actually, this is exactly the kind of analysis, err knee-jerk reaction, I expect from most fellow Cowboy fans.
