LT gets 30 TDs what a RB...

the way you define playmakers is by TDs scored... the way you define the best RB should be by TDs scored!!! But thanks to the ESPN era who made BARRY SANDERS the most overrated Player in NFL history and have put more importance on MOVES in the BACKFIELD over actual yardage gained and scoring TDs in the name of ratings and shock reporting.

there is no question LT is the best RB ever to play!

LT is 10 times better than Barry... but then again BARRY fans will use the LT had a better OL excuse! But much better than Jim Brown who played against some sorry talent...

LT is WALTER and EMMITT put together and its fun to watch!!!

Uh no Jim Brown was the greatest RB ever. End of story.

If LT ever wins a superbowl or two, he will be the Michael Jordan of football. He does things consistently that no one has ever done, at least not that well. He's amazing.

Go Frogs!

San Diego is a blessed team. They get some of the strangest calls to go their way.

And Marcus McNeil is a beast.

Emmitts records for touchdowns. If he continues to be this durable he will be the first to 20,000 too.

We shall see though. I know he will break the TD record for a RB but the nrushing record>>>

i dont know if he is durable enough but if he plays as long as emmitt he will reach 20,000.

The amount of pressure the Chargers bring is amazing. No wonder Merriman's stats are so high.

If Merriman was on our team, he would not have anywhere near the same numbers he does.

He would get constant double teams if he was here. Who do you double on the Chargers defense? They can all bring some serious heat on the QB.

if he stays healthy, emmitt's record is in alot of trouble.

I think he will. Like Payton wanted Emmitt to break his record, I will be happy for LT if and when he surpasses Emmitt. Much better the record go to a high quality guy like LT then someone like a Larry Johnson

Nope. I don't think he will get there as far as the yards. He will get close. Great back.

As a Cowboy fan I hope he doesn't. I am hoping for a Cowboy to break Emmitt's records. If LT does it would be the next best thing in my opinion. LT doesn't come off as a Clinton Portis, Larry Johnson, or a Tiki Barber. LT seems to be a class act. Which Emmitt Smith was, is, and always will be.

As much as I would like Emmitt to keep that record forever.....Ill say this, there isn't a person more deserving of that record then LT. Class act all the way. Never pumps himself up with all that BS talk....just goes on the field and takes care of business.

Did I miss something on Larry Johnson? Aside from the issues he had with not playing at all (which seem pretty substantiated from his p.o.v) while Priest was there, he's been a pretty model citizen, no?

I know he has a very strong appreciation for the game, the league, the history of its players, etc...and he is known as a hard worker.

He must have done something that I'm not aware of?

Yes sir. Everytime Trent Green goes to throw to the back, there is a defender right there.

When KC is expecting San Diego to blitz from the outside, the blitz up the middle.

When our guys blitz, somehow they all manage to get picked up, even though we have more guys blitzing then they have blocking.

Occasionally, our guys can get pressure based on their raw talent, but I just feel like our scheme is amazingly incompetent. Our players often look lost and confused on coverages.

I dont know if the players arent executing or if it's Zimmer's fault, but Zimmer has been the only constant the last 5 plus years and the same problems we had then, we have now, despite the massive upgrade in talent. Even if it's not his fault, something just isn't working and it may just be one of those situations where we need some fresh ideas.

I'm watching the game right now, and the San Diego scheme isn't that complex at all, I see LBs shooting gaps that the front 3 provide, just going straight from the position they lined up before the snap, and I also see them selling out the blitz by bringing 1, sometimes 2, people up to the line before the snap, the same stuff we do, of course they add a few more wrinkles than we do, but it's not terribly complex

the difference is their players are actually winning their battles consistently
