Who did his job today and was handicapped by a conservative game plan and horrific defense.

The fact that the gameplan called for virtually no passes over 10 yards tells me all I need to know.

Cant wait to watch more of check-down Charlie next week, going to be fun:rolleyes:

Doubt Weedan will start, and if he does at some point he will be replaced by Cassell.

Even if Drew Brees plays the Cowboys have a good shot at winning the game. Drew Brees' days as an elite QB are over and the Saints are a bad football team.

This is a winnable game and with the Patriots looming afterwards the team needs to find a way to leave NO with a win.

I'm not too certain that BW didn't have the option to go downfield if he saw the defense cheating up close. It's tough to know exactly what his instructions were. If it was totally Linehan's doing, it failed miserably. Maybe he will be allowed to go dowfield this week if the defense cheats up again, assuming he's still the QB at the helm.

I watched a little bit of the Saints/Panthers that I recorded.

Bad news is, McCown did not look all that bad. The Panthers picked him off late to seal the game, but did not pressure him a lot.

The Saint defense was horrid as has become customary. Newton threw and ran on them at will, and this is without a blue chip WR. Greg Olsen was open all day long.

Is it to early for the NFL to flex this game...for the fan base please do!

I would prefer all the Romo-less games to be out of prime time. Waiting all day just to watch this punchless offense? Not good.

You know it is bad or the odds makers see another disaster when the 0-3 saints are 7 point favs.

I recall BW attempting one downfield pass that sailed about 7 yards too far. Fans aren't privy to the gameplan. There are those in the media who believe Weeden had the option to go downfield if they cheated up close but he wasn't inclined to take that chance. I would only hope we'll see a little bit more flexibility next week, regardless of exactly who is to blame.

Loud environment or not that defense is dreadful like a typical Ryan defense.

We put up 28 points against a superior defense.

Weeden will be fine.

Since when is Atlanta's defense superior? Philly shredded that Atlanta defense in their game and we know that Philly is limited in what they can do offensively.
