I'm more concerned with our Dline headed into next week over anything else. A Dline with Hardy and Gregory would've helped get us off the field and limit that ATL offense. We used ALOT of 4 man rushes with only 2 capable of getting to the backfield. On top of that we allowed too many clean breaks on receivers.

I agree, Defense was getting ripped in the run game and had to bring guys up to stop the run allowing Alt and Jones to take advantage. Dallas did a good job early on with Alt passing game but Alt was able to run through out the game and as they did Dallas was forced to bring guys up allowing a lot more room for Jones to work

I think if Dallas defense shows up then we have a good chance at winning this game.

Agreed. Mincey isn't a world beater but he can help contain the run over Russell (rookie-still learning). It wasn't since Thanksgiving where are run defense was horrible. Hopefully that misfortune takes a break.

Once ATL grew confident in the run game it opened their playbook. It's a good thing NO doesn't have that type of back who can burst through the line. Ingram is ok but we should be able to contain. Having Mincey back will help. I would still like to see us go after a Dlineman on the inside since McClain is on IR. If not, hopefully Bishop and Coleman can play on a consistent level.

We have a lot of critics here who while they have opinions as we all do are not the greatest talent evaluators. Every thing is based on stats yet stats do not tell you when the player was filling the gap forcing the RB to change direction, or making penetration into the back field disrupting the play. That does not show up on the stats yet it is part of playing team defense. Also the fact it he gives us vet leadership and experience to rotate in the games.

Ingram is capable of it, Dallas has to do a better job of shutting the run game down. Give Ingram some big runs and like most player the confidence level will rise.

Having Mincey bag will help with the run. He may not be as effective in getting to the QB but he doesn't get pushed to often at the point of attack.

I agree. I think Mincey is a solid player. Too many here expect a player to be a star or he is trash. Guys like Mincey are big factors in the play of the overall defense. Not having him out there we saw OL being able to get to the LB with Mincey size and strength he makes it a lot tougher on OL getting to the LB.

Yeah, people quickly lose sight of those intangibles and how they can make a big difference. Keeping fingers crossed he passes concussion protocol.

Mincy and T. McClain being hurt us more than Romo & Dez IMO. This D works when it has fresh bodies to rotate. that was obliviously not the case yesterday.

I agree. I think Mincey will be back in the lineup this week that should be a big help.
