All he needed was targets. And now finally healthy.

We have never successfully used two TE's. You would think with our WR group this would have been a priority.

We were told he was struggling or a bust. How many number 2 TE's have we seen sit and or struggle in Dallas and end up being very solid in once they actually get to play?

He’s actually not playing really well. He and Fergs together could be fun

He’s one to watch as he could make Ferg expendable if he can keep trending up. Ferg is a guy that could get you another day 2 pick by trading his last year of his rookie deal.

I was in Landover for the Commanders game. Stayed at same hotel as the team. Luke was a nice guy giving fans time and signing things. Tolbert as well.
Tolbert seemed like a humble dude. When Cooks scored his touchdown he didn’t want to celebrate with him so he could have his moment. Seems like a good dude

He's looking promising, does this in anyway affect the deal Ferguson could get?
Absolutely. Ferguson is similar to Schultz. He can put up numbers and make plays.

But he’s no where near the Gronk, Kittl, Kelce, Witten range.

I don’t over pay for similar production. But man, this board has done a complete 180 on Pro Schoon and anti Fergy lol

I’ve been saying all along how is a 6’6” TE not in the plans every week . This was before Ferguson went down . I’m watching Mark Andrews with the Ravens and it’s like why not the guy in Dallas .

Agreed. Dowdle was cool as well. I don't bother the players but they were good with anyone wanting their attention.

Hopefully he breaks the 2nd rd curse, especially with the TE position, the Cowboys are currently in.

I have been patient and rooting for Schoonmaker since he was drafted. The Cowboys like to focus on 1 TE while turning TEs they drafted into invisible men. Now that he has a chance to get some targets he looks okay. But he reminds me of David LaFleur. No much run after catch potential, at least nothing I have seen so far.
