Might as well trade our 2nd round pick for someone in FA. Our 2nd round selections the past 20 years have been doo doo.
Diggs, Lee, Dlaw, awuzie, Williams just off the top of my head

The same fans probably are also pleased with Cooks
I doubt anyone has been pleased with him. Expectations were high for him and he’s been a big disappointment.

Such a bad decision. Multiple scouting reports before the draft had him developing into a backup TE at best!

1 catch, 1 yard, 1TD in 124 snaps

For you PFF ratings aficionados, his PFF run blocking score has been a middling at best 53.0
Which is what we were trying to say when we grossly overdrafted him in the 2nd. At least he has more upside than Escobar had. However, what is blatantly clear and has been from the start is that he is a project player at a position already filled. It just made/makes no sense.

And Bennett turned into a borderline Pro Bowl player elsewhere and Fasano was at least a passable starter. Escobar was the only real bust
Yes, but he was still taking a position we didn't need. Which means he didn't improve our team all that much, which means he was a wasted pick.
